Many people have said this before but I wish there was a "mixed/in the middle" option for reviews since this game isn't awful, it just gets super grindy after a bit and some of its levels can feel like they were designed by a little kid making a map with crayons in his kindergarten class; the game is not that fun as it stands since having fun is about 10% of the game (the first act) and the other 90% is doing dumb grindy stuff like I said before. Don't buy it. Just wait for the free version to come out.

♥♥♥♥ this game. An easier and much worse version of the original that completely kills the atmosphere in certain areas for like quintuple the price. Not worth it at all, and they haven't made any strides to change/patch the game to address difficulty and performance issues + bugs.

I will be entirely honest, this game is boring as ♥♥♥♥, it's such a slog of an RPG and it has nothing going for it besides the world and aesthetic, it doesn't have anything to supplement the lack of any interesting or slightly engaging combat. A lot of the quests are really boring and just tell you to get something and then come back. I really cannot be asked to finish the game, I am fine with simpler games, but 20$ for a very luke warm, below average experience, no thank you.

It made me fall asleep at my desk for like 2 hours after playing the intro. Not interested to go any further if it's gonna constantly make me tired because of how bored I am.

I also don't know if it's just me, but this game feels awful to control. There's a weird input delay with everything you do, and it's quite noticeable, especially when you switch weapons. Sometimes the game doesn't even register that you swapped a weapon, making you press it 2-3 times. It's annoying. The combat lacks any impact or punch. Sux.

I honestly think this is the best zombie game of all time. Despite it's flaws, it's an incredibly unique game and there hasn't been a game that has ever emulated anything close to the feel of this game, even the sequels. This is the best out of the trilogy, everything about it is just so perfectly made. Mindlessly killing zombies during your free time and making random mixed juices is a good time.

It's some of the most fun I've had in gaming in a while, and the biggest test of my sanity when going for 100%. I don't think another game can live up to just how amazing Dead Rising is. Can't wait for Deluxe Remaster. :)

Fry eggs with some nice art direction and an amazing soundtrack.

I'm not sure what it means. But it's nice. I like frying eggs.

Fun, but it's not for me.
