I love this game and I keep coming back to it even long after finishing it.
The best part about it is the open world. It is relaxing and enjoyable for me to travel around in it and look for places I haven't explored yet.
Second best thing is the story (I also finished Elex 1 and recommend playing Elex 2 only after completing 1).
I loved the inclusion of Billy Idol and the general free spirited approach of the creators regarding their content choices (the characters curse freely, say funny and sometimes surprising things, there are cool references and the general atmosphere is not always predictable).
Loved the soundtrack (Cassandra / in-game "Radio Orbit" songs).
The combat is not the greatest, the graphics are not top notch but I'm having so much fun playing it that I really do not care about these flaws.

I got this game when it was given for free and so far I'm really enjoying it!
I read in other reviews that the game is too hard, unclear etc. I disagree with that from what I've seen - there are 5 regions, each region has 3 levels - 2 regular ones and 1 boss level. The game always shows you where you need to go next. Even the level objectives are clear and consistent - you have to find 1 rune, 1 god power, 1 life apple in each level.
Difficulty level for the game is just right - the harder bosses take some time but nothing is really frustrating or feels like it can't be done. Graphics and sound are beautiful. The game plot is interesting and the whole game styling is different and fascinating. To sum this up - I really like this game and recommend it.
