I'm a filthy casual city/base building sim guy but I really like this one a lot. It's challenging but also still kinda chill because you can always pause the game when you need to make decisions. It's really good about reminding you of things you need to take care of. I also really like the randomized goals mechanic. It can be a little punishing for new players but it really rewards people who play it a lot. I also really like the music and the art style. It has a very cool aesthetic. Highly recommended

An excellent remaster of one of the best games ever

It's fun

As a turn-based strategy nerd, I really like this game. The base gameplay feels like Advance Wars and there are also really cool regiment building elements that remind me of the old PS2 game Soul Nomad. The music is very good, and the writing exceeds expectations. Definitely recommended if you like any of the games mentioned above

It's good and fun and reminiscent of the old Nintendo 64 era wrestling games

If you like Left 4 Dead and you also like Warhammer 40K then you'll really like this

I like almost everything about this game. Great writing, great story, great setting, very cool randomly generated characters, the items and weapons you find are actually modeled on the characters, the combat is simple and fun, the Civilization-like exploration is cool, and I love the events that weave into the story and the world.

The only thing I don't like is the music. Not because the music is bad, but because it's consistently sad and doesn't fit the overall tone of the game. It's a lot of deep, low string parts that are well composed and well performed create an overall mood that bums me out.

I would very much recommend this game to anyone who likes Civilization and strategy RPGs and who appreciates good writing but I would also recommend muting the music and play your own music in the background.

This game is a ton of fun but only if you don't take it seriously. There's a ton of weird janky stuff that happens all the time and it's hilarious and awesome. If you're one of those people who really cares about wins and losses and all that stuff then give this a pass but if you really truly love pro wrestling and all the silly nonsense that can happen at any time, this game is for you.

Excellent old school adventure game style gameplay with top tier writing, voice acting (in the latest version), and some very cool new innovative elements that I won't spoil because they're a core part of the game.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who appreciates good writing, voice acting, and storytelling.
