It's Early Access, but I can't put it down!

An unforgiving Hotline Miami top down game with a few original twists up its sleeves. I just got to the 2nd character and things changed a bit. Very curious how it develops further!

Its the next best thing since Door Kickers 2, and I've made Door Kickers 2.

Seriously, its very cool! (and we totally need to steal that timeline thing).

Later Edit for extra detail: Sebastien and us were in contact throughout late NPB/DK2 development, and exchanged versions. GFX47 played Door Kickers 2 before release! So back in the day, I found the timeline tool quite confusing, and reported to him about it. Now I like it so much! So either a) he improved it a lot or b) I'm no longer an idiot. Either way, the tool is great :)

A good history lesson disguised as a game.

Its probably worth playing if you're not familiar with the subjects/events and want to learn about them, but the overall personal story you're digging up in the game is worth following too!

Great platformer that keeps interesting with new portal mechanics, as you progress. The challenge so far seems about right, so I get to progress but don't get bored.

Have played the various demos they shown before and the Prologue and I feel the final version is better too, and also still interesting as the game has changed!

This is basically Top Gun but you're the guy in the back, doing all the work.

Can cosplay as a cute shark and add a wizard's hat? Sold!
(well, it's free, but you get what I'm saying).

I don't normally need to standing a virtual character for myself, but its pretty fun to do and the kids are amused, esp. of the cartoon-drawing-style dog. Wish that one had some anims though!

I made a bet with Pintea that Chimera Squad will have positive reviews, so I'm doing my part :p

(That being said, here's my impression on the game:
-superb production values, esp. for ten bucks
-complex and unexpected strategic level gameplay
-initial missions seem short and too focused on breaching choices than in actual maneuvering)

Will update once I play more :)

Hotline Miami meets SWAT 3/4, with a bit of Door Kickers here and there. As a Door Kickers dev, I'd say this is exactly what many of our customers sometimes ask for - so I guess they can now shut up and leave us alone to our pure tactics mayhem!


Supported Police Stories on Kickstarter because I played their demo and was convinced. The final game is more of the same but refined, and that's good. I love it.


Beware, though, its hard, very hard.

I played this game during one of the devs open house events at a pub - as me and my kid girl joined an impromptu match with other dudes. Now all she wants to know is when she can be a (murderous) piece of bread again, so I guess we had to get it.

The game has advanced immensely in the meanwhile, and I look forward to using the Plunger to squash her and her puny 2nd grade friends.

Deceivingly simple and increadibly deep at the same time. it sucks you and it doesn't even matter if you win or lose, you want to dig more and try some more stuff, and flow with the alternate history.

Great stuff and Game of the Year material. I need more time for it ^^
