Dredge balances calm and relaxing fishing with a looming urgency that keeps the game interesting and uneasy by utilizing indirect story telling via environment and logs to provide a cosmic horror backdrop and atmosphere. Getting caught out at sea as the clock ticks to 6:00 pm makes your pants warm as you frantically search for a nearby dock.

Of all the points in time I could be alive, I truly am grateful that I was able to experience this game. Quite possibly one of the greatest games I'll ever get to play in my lifetime and this game teaches me that's okay.

Obra Dinn is a masterpiece that everyone must play and one that everyone must go into blind; you can't play this game twice. It has such a gorgeous atmosphere from the music to the minimal visuals that made me observe the map in awe. The game play is completely unique and makes you feel clever every time you successfully determine the fate of a crew member. I wish I could erase my memory of this game to play it all over because I beat this game weeks before writing this review and I still think about the game as of right now.

This game will not only test your morality and selfless boundries, it will also check how quickly your heart can beat in anticipation for whether or not that person you approved was supposed to enter.
