Never had an issue prior to 1.0 release.

All of the developer responses seem to ask players to send direct feedback via their portal instead of responding directly to comments made via Steam reviews. This removes visibility for anyone to see if an issue or complaint is addressed.

If a review is posted via Steam reviews, I feel it should also be addressed on Steam since this is where consumers are adding their feedback and it's where future consumers are able to purchase the product.

Based on the monetization from the devs on this entry I feel this is pretty inexcusable and disgusting. You can use the feedback from Steam reviews without asking users to post in a secondary location that doesn't have any visibility from the public. This isn't on players; this on the developers. Do better.

Excellent. I cleared Alert 8 because the unlocks aside the gameplay loop was satisfying. I don't view this as a roguelite that I'd play for 100+ hours, but the 36 I've played so far were enjoyable and worth the price of entry

There's some enjoyment to be had here but definitely not for the price. Redfall has some decent gunplay, but the set pieces and quest design are very mediocre. I played through the first zone and partially through the second zone solo and had a decent experience besides the inconsistent performance. I did not finish the game due to repetition overall and I'm not sure I'll come back to it unless I play with friends when it comes down to a very deep sale.

I've really enjoyed previous games from Spiders, but the optimization of this one doesn't seem like it's getting fixed so I can't recommend. This issue was in the beta which I enjoyed the gameplay of, but seeing as this was released 6 months ago with no proper communication around the optimization and there being DLC that has been released I don't have hope that this will be resolved. Unfortunate.

Best support for a game from a developer I've ever seen. I initially paid for the base game, never felt pressured to buy DLC (it's all cosmetic only, and there's no shortage of free cosmetics to unlock), but as the DLC would go on sale I would pick up 1 or 2 as I was interested. Finally just bought the full package since I wanted to continue to support the devs like they've supported the game with free content and updates. This has been the only battle pass I've ever seen that doesn't induce FOMO since they just throw anything you didn't earn during the season into the loot pool where you continue to unlock everything for free. I can't recommend enough!

Doesn't require any 3rd party launchers. Along with that it's a fantastic remake!

Enjoyable, but aside from the combat the other aspects of the game are simple. Know what you're getting into and expectations set correctly and it's a worthwhile purchase

Very good gunplay and a surprisingly wide variety of builds for being a FPS rougelite that feel viable and provide a unique enough experience

It's had a little bit of a bumpy road in early access, but the mechanics are very enjoyable and the deck variety is solid. Looking forward to the upcoming updates. May be worth just wishlisting currently to see how things pan out, but if you're looking for an immediate fix for rogue-lite deck-building this is a good choice to pick up on sale. Recommended
