pretty good for a free 2 poor game. Scratches the itch that The Division gave me, without having to deal with the crappy Uplay launcher(or buying the game again),

Worth a try, you'll either like it or not. Big annoyance is the beep that goes on when you're in a polluted area that will drive you insane.

What i didn't like about the game:

most of these issues become annoying in ACT 3
janky animations some times
especially at the finale, characters auto skip and stutter their dialogues/scenes

minions are bugged to hell. They either get stuck on terrain and never follow you(can't have more than 3 minions or they will be stuck constantly) on top of that they will block your companions from following as well. They are glorified meat shields as they will never hit a single enemy even if they are prone. low level zombies literally hit more than lvl 6 spell mummies.

I hate the %hit chance, doesn't seem to be accurate at all. All arguments go out the window when my Lae'zel misses 2 84% chances with advantage in a row.(karmatic dice disabled)

everything else in the game is pretty good, act 1 was the best.
all but 2 characters grew on me by act 2. The best ones are introduced in act 2 and 3

I waited till i finished it to review it. It is the best RPG since Dragon Age Origins.

It is also long as sht.
I gib 8/10 egs
considering a second playthru...
Love:
1. Story/World: a bit of a twist to the ol' "magic(source) bad" fantasy.
2. Characters: good banter and personal stories
3. Combat:
the elemental spell cohesion is great
4. choices, lots of choices although most of the time they can softlock you.
Things I didn't like:
Gear(hate/love): Lots of unique armors/weapons, but every time you get one you love, it falls off and you have to switch it out already. Also melee gets the coolest ones.
5. *There are so many interactions and ways to cheese enemies/bosses.

Disliked:
Combat:
1. Sometimes turns would just skip despite not being crowd controlled, or during the turn itself while having 2 or more ap left.
2. Projectiles would hit an object even though the aim pathing shows it clearly hitting the target.
3. Enemies can hit you easily from the low ground, through a low barrier but you can't shoot them back? Completely makes the high ground mechanic inconsistent and clunky.
4.*Deters you engaging in dialogue before combat because you will be one shotted or stunlocked. As a result you have to skip the lore by cheesing most fights.
-Either you get cheesed or you become the cheese.
5. Magic is kinda butt
-physical is the only consistent dps as enemies will be immune to one element rendering one party member useless. Only worthwhile using cc spells or having one element per member(which seems inefficient).

I hope they add more intricate chemical interactions like in powder toy, also Im so sht at this and I cant stop playing it.
