CS2 is a rushed product with the current features being not even close to where they should be for a full release.
First off, I would like to explain that Valve was never pushed by the community to release this game as soon as possible, we, as fans, didn't even know about the current state of CS2 until a couple months before the game was released.
I will give some examples to show how this game shouldn't have been released yet as a full release that removed CS:GO entirely.

• Shooting sub-tick (fixed by now but still a MAJOR flaw on the release and that was only noticed because the community went after it to check what was wrong).

• Anti-cheat system/Reporting system - The amount of cheaters is extremely high, CS:GO was filled with cheaters however blatant ones were always removed fast, right now if you join any community DM there's a 50/50 chance to find a cheater there and even after reporting him, nothing happens. At the same time, if you get reported by 4 teammates for GRIEFING you will get a 24 hours cool down in competitive, yes you got that straight, if you get reported 4 times for griefing (even if you didn't do anything) you will get a 24 hour cool down, but if a guy drops a 80 bomb through the wall all headshots Valve will not detected it as a cheat and even after reports the cheater will remain active and blasting.

• Basic features from CS:GO missing - CS2 should have been an improvement in all aspects of the game, however, devs seem to have forgot about many features, including but not limited to: cl_righthand 0, snd commands, rate settings, net_graph, bobview, tracers = 0, show hit accuracy.

• Same issues as CS:GO - CS2 should have been an improvement in all aspects of the game, however, devs didn't fix things like, including but not limited to: Being able to see an enemy through the smoke if there is a Molotov in front or a HE in the back, voting/kick system being a joke and the person being kicked having no way to avoid it, unexplainable shot hitbox misses even with the AWP (check youtube), low performance in maps like Overpass/Inferno and every time you are near water, matchmaking always putting you in the lower rated team, players ratings that make no sense.

Unfortunately I stopped playing and I'm not coming back until I see at least a vast majority of the problems with CS2 fixed, and knowing how Valve works, this will take another 10 years (maybe in 5 years we will have cl_righthand 0 back).

Not recommended, don't play.
