I'm Edd. I own a lot of games. I've played some of them!

A remarkably relaxing and therapeutic way to spend an hour or two - cutting apart large vessels and salvaging the parts. It's repetitive for the most part but the challenge amps up when there are more hazards to deal with. It's not the deepest game as it's early access. The whole pay off debt system plays into the amusing future mega-corporation context of the game and doesn't really impact the gameplay much. It's not something you'll binge play but it's satisfying to have a completely empty berth at the end, knowing you've salvaged almost everything you possibly could. Assuming you don't accidentally blow yourself to smithereens. It's also a beautiful game and matches the Homeworld aesthetic inspired by sci-fi painters like Peter Elson, Chris Foss etc...

The price tag is reasonable enough - especially now they have added the sandbox mode which lifts time and oxygen restrictions. Hopefully more to come from the developers!
