I went into this game knowing nothing and left with a harrowing, emotional experience that I strongly recommend other experience for themselves.
Ninja Theory really did the work to put together this game and despite its short playtime, really hits hard.

This is definitely a love/hate type of game. You've already heard the reputation: Unfogivingly difficult.

There is an extremely deep story buried beneath limited dialogue you must obtain from events and items but wholey enthralling.

Combat varies intensely based on how you would like to play and is incredibly satisfying once you finally manage to slay the monster that has been mericilessly slaughtering you for the past 2 hours.

Pick this up if you're a fan of old-style RPGs, have the patience to learn from your mistakes, and want to have a truely unique gaming experience that is equally satisfying as it is frustrating.

I'd probably list this game among the top platform action RPG games out there.

Think Zelda + Apocolypse + a bajillion gallons of blood.

The art style is simply amazing, several concepts will be very familiar to those having played Zelda, God of War, Portal, and Metroid Prime.

The story itself is amazing and took me a few plays to fully grasp but well worth it.
