This game has left marks on me no other game has managed to make, or atleast not in the same way.

It lures you in with beautiful story telling, world building and fulfilling quests that, even if not required, make you feel satisfied in someway for completing them. This coupled with the fluid gameplay, satisfying mechanics and surprising variety really makes for a unique experience.

Ofcourse, if you have any knowledge of the previous NieR title (which personally, I don't), the game makes you feel more satisfied for any bonus information that you may stumble upon, as from looking some things up, alot of callbacks are made at certain points of the game. Don't worry if you haven't experienced NieR previously however, as I felt just as satisfied with the main story presented to me without that knowledge.

I personally played with a keyboard, though if you don't want to take the time learning this somewhat awkward method I'd recommend using a controller of some sort as there are many points where it seems to be the straight up better method for playing, as some features that can be executed rather simply with controllers can take some time to really grasp properly with a keyboard.

So far I've completed 90ish% of the quests the game has to provide me and collected a large majority of the bonus information, and even then I still feel like I'm experiencing something new every time I load up the game.

One of the best games I've playing for a long time.

10/10.
The game does contain a few flaws but none of them are worthy enough of making me give this title less than it deserves.
