Puzzles are great, environments are gorgeous and philosophical dilemmas are deep and take some thought to answer. As expected, a very insightful and enjoyable sequel to the original Talos Principle game!

After seeing the trailers and then the gameplay demo, Viewfinder is everything I had hoped for and then some. Its use of the unique perspective placing mechanics are mind blowing and the game is full of amazing details that will keep you curious to see everything and solve the puzzles in your own way. Brilliant experience!

This game was much of what I had hoped for. Platforming, meeting characters and solving puzzles in Non-Euclidean environments. I had a blast seeing all the different ways of experiencing the unique geometry and I've been hyped for this game through every one of the developer videos. Hyperbolica is a wonderful experience as a whole, and I especially loved the ongoing thought-stimulating discussions that existed within the worlds. Well worth the hype, and I hope the creator and all who contributed are proud to have brought this brilliant and unique concept so far.

Early Access Review
Very fun and very immersive survival game. Wonderful building and crafting systems and incredibly sandboxable environment. Really fun game to create the experience of your own with the medieval/viking style well set. All this greatness even in Early Access. Looking forward to how far this game can go!

So far, this has been a charming attempt at capturing the style of Reventure, with many endings, a timelooped world and tricky paths requiring the right items.

The lack of sound effects is quite disappointing and I only realised there was toggleable music to play before coming to write this review. The screen feels very cramped at times, especially when making blind jumps on small platforms.

The reused death obstacles are pretty dull. It's disappointing to travel out through a new area, to make it so far through just to misjump on an unseen platform and hit spikes to get the spike ending. Or to step on another randomly placed mine and get the mine ending At least Reventure had different endings for accidental deaths in different locations.

Next, the deaths themselves aren't too amazing. You get some text telling you "You didn't see that so-easy-to-see pressure plate and accidentally stepped on it? You fool! Start over!" and then an... almost Reventure-esque cutscene plays, and then starting over. It would be more bearable if the lengthy already-seen cutscenes could be skipped like the text. I'm not bugged by the occasional broken english. That's okay. The actual jokes themselves could just be... funnier... if they were meant to be jokes, of course.

Finally, this game does show promise as a try-die-repeat game like its inspiration. I'm sure there is a great series of endings yet to be uncovered and some decent storylines to come from completing each objective. Obviously can't complain about the price (free), but I'm not really sure what I would use the extra paid-for skins for. Self achievement?

Do I recommend playing this game?

Yes.

But play Reventure first.

It's Terraria. That should be all the encouragement you need.
