I really miss this game, there's no reason I shouldn't be able to play it, but now Epic Games has bought it and is using it as the next step on their path to attempting to gain a monopoly on the computer gaming sector. I've tried to ignore Epic and just let them be, after all I wasn't a fortnite fan so I didn't care that much for a while, but recently Epic has earned a very negative image. And what do they do next? They buy rocket league and make it incompatible with competing platforms. My feelings towards Epic have gone from negative in one dimension to negative in three dimensions. I wish I could play this game again, I had fun with it, but they've ripped support for it for no apparent reason and I've now lost all the money I invested in this purchase. Even if you're one of lucky few who Epic will allow to play this game, I suggest you avoid it and anything else that gives Epic money or good analytics, they have done remarkably awful things and do not deserve a share of your income.

Could a better game exist? I think NOT! Pros/cons and reflection:

Pros:
-Free
-Short
-Very entertaining, yet simple
-Nothing to stress over

Cons:
-Can become difficult to keep up with everything at times
-If taken seriously, I suppose it could be slightly overwhelming

Reflection: While I have not played this game in its entirety, I am already quite fond of it and look forward to having the chance to play more! It's rather simple, and perhaps get's boring before long, but it is still a good few moments of entertainment, especially considering that it is free!

Early Access Review
I'm going to be a bit lazy in this review as I haven't played in a while for various reasons:

Pros:
-Unique
-Good multiplayer, at least for early access
-A fair bit to learn and do, for the price
-Fairly active development
-Just generally fun to spend time playing
-Tasteful art
-Lifelike, enough to be relatable and include many moments where you just enjoy an in-game sunset or nap, instead of always working.

Cons:
-Cam have stability issues, amongst related issues
-Multiplayer can be buggy and even cause problems
-NO MAC OSX SUPPORT AHHHHHH
-Pricy for where it is right now; hard to convince friends to join
-Can get boring if you try to rush instead of enjoy
-Difficult alone

Overall: I do like this game, but I don't think it's anywhere near it's full potential. Axolot is taking too much on at once, and compromising their quality just to make it work. I would rather have had an optimized Scrap Mechanic with Survival mode by now than two games that are still a bit lacking and don't run on my Mac. That said, both are pretty good. I prefer Scrap Mechanic, but I believe they released this to get funds from the more active-gaming type to benefit both games in the long run. I hope this is what happens, and we end up with two great games comparable to those from major studios, but for now, Raft especially is less than it should be and the game is only worth the price if you convince at least one friend to buy and play it with you too!
(However, I still like it! Just not quite $20 like it...)

GET IT WHILE YOU CAN and think of it as really cheap DLC for FSX!

Okay, so it's normal price is a bad value and even the sale is a bit much, but this is your last chance to get this sim. While this looks much nicer, it still runs fine on my laptop more used to FSX. Sure, it's not very stable and needs more work that will never come, but it is still manageable and worth getting while you still can.
I haven't played it much, but so far I'm pretty impressed. You should look at it as a step up from FSX, not a step down from X-Plane, as this would have been much more impressive in 2012 when microsoft flight simulator probably deserved a new version, but here it (mostly) is, a bit late, but still worth getting and a peice of flight sim history.

(When I got this it was $7.99, and I agree it's not worth the $40, but, had I known it would work on my laptop, I'd value it somewhere in the middle)

Breif pros-
Excellent GUI (mostly)
Stunning graphics (Okay, maybe not quite modern standards, but way better than all the 2006 sims and better than I thought my computer was capable of)
Begginer friendly (Easy GUI and worked with no setup with my thrustmaster)
Currently much DLC is FREE!!!
Currently pretty cheap!!!
Get it now because on May 24, it will only be history to those who don't

Breif cons-
Few instrument overlays (only virtual cockpit and glass cockpit instruments [no separate window for, say, throttle)
Overlayed (Shift + #) glass cockpit instruments need work, which I guess they will never get. (The virtual cockpit ones are different and are complete, but you can barely use them because of turbulence and these 'popped out' ones don't have all the working buttons/dials)
Autopilot difficult to use (but not impossible)
Limited aircraft choices
Slow to load (but I think my ram is slow, so that makes sense)
Physics are... questionable... This is only a problem with some aircraft though, and it should be such a siple fix that they might add it anyway... Hopefully? Please?

It's a fourth game, so what do you expect, no, it's not perfect. Ill put the rest in pros/cons with cons first since people generally care more about them. Basically, cool to have, but you should start your collection with a previous jackbox party pack as this one is a bit over ambitious.

Cons:
-Not very easy to understand. I've had a lot of trouble explaining some of the games, especially to grandparents.
-Monster seeking monster...Sort of awkward and it shows the nickname you chose to others. Best with friends & a large group
-Fibbage is not too much different than other versions...but see pros, its still good
-Some of the website interfaces are too complex for smartphone browsers and sometimes glitch on them.
-More expencive sale price than older versions, yet not as good in my opinion

Pros:
-Cool and unique games, mostly
-Advanced interaction, a lot more to playing than in previous versions
-New fibbages are cool, especially "enough about you," but the defibrilator was nice in the party pack 2
-Civic doodle is GREAT! Even the song at the end is great
-Survive the internet is GREAT too, but takes a play or two to figure out. *Read what is says on your devise while playing
-Brackerteering is simple, sort of confusing to new players, but quite good!

Basically, I reccomend this, but I reccomend one of the othe Jackbox Party Packs even more, especially 2 since I have that.

Early Access Review
Scrap mechanic is an EXTREMELY fun game that I found worth every cent! (and more) You can do anything you want, normally in any way you want! I like how much the developers respond to community feedback. Perhaps the best part is being involved with a game still in development!

Pros of the game (creative mode, until survival):
-NO limits, the only limit is basically your computer specs and imagination!
-Easy to learn, very simple mechanics and "wireing." Even has a good in-game guide book!
-Fairly realistic physics, notably inertia, traction, and acceleration.
-New things as often as every month! It's amazing how much change it's gone through!
-Well sized block/player ratio, feels more real/fair than most other games
-REALLY easy to build simple structures
-Easy to make really cool cars (with some experience)
-Has own game engine, So faster/more compatible, and new updates may come faster

Cons:
-Won't run on most low end machines, recently had problems on my ~$500 laptop, but works better again with this new engine. Now (Sept. 2018) I use a different but similar computer and it runs great but crahses somewhat often.
-Limited world size (currently, this is supposed to change eventually)
-There are still some items and features to be desired, but most things are there.
-Does not support Mac OSX!!! (Really wish they would)
-Multiplayer can sometimes be very slow or glitchy, especially with my mediocre ISP
*It is likely that many of these cons be improved or fixed, and this is truley a great game!

Update: I am just updating this in november, 2017. It is starting to run much better on my low end laptop. I am making a town in a flat world, and it runs well even with many cars spawed in, a complex elevator, museum, and a large very complex spaceship! This game has gotten much more compatible, without loosing common updates. My new favorite block is the mechanic ship block, as it is much better for cars.

Update: September 2018: My laptop is done, so I now play via bootcamp on a similar-spec mac. The game has gotten faster and better optimized, but on this computer it crashes every few hours, more often than it did on my laptop. (November:) Online multiplayer is spotty, but the new updates are a ton of fun!
