It's a good game. It's just not for me. I don't enjoy sitting there smacking trees or goblins for hours on end just to level up and currently there is no content or reason to grind unless you're preparing for the future. Good game just not my style. I want a game with progression and not so dull leveling systems. It's just boring after a few hours.

Lots of memories playing this when it first came out. The multi-player was pretty damn stressful at night I won't lie I jumped a few times. Good game solo or with friends. I do enjoy the open world aspect. However I do think this game is best with all of the DLC it's worth it.

I enjoyed the survival aspects and the sort of learning curve that it has I didn't use guides or anything. My only complaint is I don't have friends to play with so I do think it's a game best avoided if you don't have people to play with. It's just not as fun solo. But this game wasn't designed to be played solo so that's not a con per se.

It can be unforgiving at first but after you die enough you'll figure it out haha

In my honest opinion it's alright, it is not something that I had to absolutely have or could not live without. It's Counter strike with new graphics and some re skins, I prefer 1.6 and source over CSGO but that is just me. The ability to have custom skins on your weapons that you can unlock is cool but you still have to spend real money to open the cases which typically will run around $2-3 USD. I have found that I do not enjoy the game anymore it was fun at first but not so much anymore, I prefer to play 1.6. If you have the extra money and want to try it go for it, its not a terrible game but it is not for me I am too stuck in the old CS days. Now day's there is no sport in the game anymore like it used to be in my opinion.

Before you read this is solely my opinions and first hand experience of the game up to this point, and that is all. Take into consideration it is in Alpha state so it may change as well could my opinion but this is of the current moment. Give it a try before you bash on it from reviews.

On to my review.


Being this is soley my opinion from playing, It's an alright game for being free, it is fun at first cause its something new but I find that at its current state of alpha its not balanced at all. It falls hard into the "PAY TO WIN" model of business which for me is a huge turn away, You earn currency to buy new weapons and upgrades for them such as (ammo types, barrels, sights, triggers, etc.) BUT I find that you earn maybe in a very good game 3-4K credits on a average game it is 1-2K. Now you can buy premium to get boost's to EXP and Credits and such but I find that if you try to be a free player you are going to be grinding a VERY long time to get anything. Average upgrade is 15-20K credits for one upgrade, the better ones are about 30-60K for an upgrade on a weapon and considering you average 1-4K credits a game....do the math. Now the "balanced" state it is in right now it's basically if you are infantry use an SMG if you fly a plane fly a bomber and if you are a tank driver, well drive a tank. Any 3 of those roles and you really can't not win and it is frustrating. Especially the fact a SMG seem's in my time played to be more accurate and more damage even at long ranges compaired to a rifle and that makes no sense. Again that is just in my experience's. To some it may hold its value but to me it just get's bland after a few days there is not a whole lot to hold my interest. It does have realistic physics with bullet drop so you do have to compensate which is very cool same with vehicle weapons. All in all check it out and find out if it is for you, the current business model and the way its balanced right now is not for my taste so I must pass on it for now.

I beat this game originally back when I had an Xbox 360 a long time ago. It was amazing then and still is now, the story line is very in depth the deciscions you make actually have to be thought out and the way you do things as well (killing people not killing people, Voice interactions with others, etc.) The game can be beat 3 different times for 3 different endings, I will not spoil them but I have always loved the customization of the character and the replayability of the game. Any game I can beat and then turn aroud and want to beat it a second or third time in my book is a game worth owning. A game with great depth and story line is what i look for and this game for a single player RPG definitely delivers on that. Customizing your characters augmentations and deciding if you will play the game as a lethal player and kill everyone like a butcher or play non lethal and only kill those that HAVE to be killed is awesome. Hidden objects and items are also great and the fact I can modify my weapons on the fly and change things around is amazing. This game is at the top of my list as far as an RPG goes its not number one but its up there with Mass Effect series and Elderscrolls etc. Give it a try, you wont regret it.

Terrible game, If you want to play this game to play it on console not through steam. Huge issues with launching it through steam and having to manually go into program files to install crap which is un acceptable. The game crashes all the time for no reason which is very annoying. You have to connect to a Microsoft windows life account which is fine I have one but it always says I have the wrong product key when this is the original game i bought FROM steam. This is a common issue a lot of people run into. I played the demo on the xbox 360 back when I had one it was cool. This game is not like the original ace combat series of games which were and still are AMAZING in my book with game play and story line. Just be warned and wary of what you get into before you buy this game. It works for some people and plays fine. But a lot of people it does not. The risk and headache is up to you.

Game is actually really fun, its a dungeon grinder like diablo but in my opinion this is the game that diablo 3 should have been. Great game mechanics, the currency is orbs instead of gold and such, you can't buy your way to glory either which I love you have to grind and work for it. Max level is 100 which nobody has ever hit yet because once you hit the level 80's area's that is as high as the area's scale to, meaning you have to grind on level 80's mobs to get to level 100 instead of level 90's or higher mobs so its a very very long grind. The visuals are pretty amazing for a dungeon crawler if you can max the game out it's even better. The talent tree is HUGE and I mean MASSIVE. Yes there are classes but its not like a typical dungeon crawler you can make the class into anythnig you want, from level 1 there are a total of 150 points to distribute through a passive skill tree, and there is 3x that in options so you really do have to pay close attention to what you put points into. No class has specific spells either, you kill mobs and they drop orbs which you equip into your gear like a jem, based on what drops is what spell it is it could be a single target, a Area of effect, a debuff, a poison, a buff, a slow. It's hit or miss you have to trade around to get what you want and there is no autcion house or anything like that, you have to use global chat to trade what you find. It's actually difficult as hell and frustrating but its the challenge I prefer. Skill's you have equipped into your gear level as you kill mobs and grind, then can be sold for higher prices. The great thing is everyone is on the same server and its public not like diablo or torchlight where you are in your own little instance or world. Everyone is in the same server and can chat freely, in order to see the others though you must form a party so you have the choice to fly solo if you want, the more people you group with though the better drops and experience but also the harder mobs become from level 1. All in all its a great game I enjoy it so far better than Diablo 10 fold and better than torchlight 1 and 2 which really makes a statement. Give it a try worth playing and what the hell its FREE!
