Early Access Review
The greatest space combat game since Freespace. Worth every penny. The campaign is short, but the challenge difficulties will keep me playing for longer. The action is fast and brutal. Failing missions and coming up with a better attack plan is part of the fun. Worth every penny.

Pros: Great dogfighting mechanics, compelling and challenging campaign, good sound and music, excellent AI, pleasing visuals
Con: Short campaign

Here's hoping this gets some more love from the dev!

Pretty good game so far (level 39) - I've been running quests, dungeons, and doing some pvp. The game feels very balanced and catered towards both experience RPG players and casuals. Hardcore players might find the game too casual / hack'n'slashy but hey - its free. So far I havent spent any money on it and I don't feel crippled because of it. Certainly I've seen some paying characters and felt the jealous sting of a F2P pubbie gazing on the elite - but overall the paid content doesn't feel overtly shoved in my face.

It isnt like real hand to hand combat but its about as close as you can get. Battles are as intense and epic as you make them. I've spent hours upon hours in the singleplayer campaign cutting down hordes of rhodok scum, leading crusades into sarranid territory, and defending castles to the last man. If you're not into sandbox style singleplayer, multiplayer is still an epic melee of horsemen, infantry, and archers. No one class is really unbalanced.

Anyway, if you have the money, you best pick it up :O
