A fast paced shooter with so much replay value. I'm absolute ♥♥♥♥ at competitive shooters, and yet I can still pull out some of the sickest shots, or just piss someone off by using the bat. This game has it all!

If Chrono Trigger is the full bodied golden ale of JRPGs, Sea of Stars would be the Miller High-Life of JRPGs.
This game is an extreme example of style over substance. While the game is beautiful in its visual and audio landscape, the battles are so incredibly boring. There is no reward in diversifying your attack style besides trying to get an enemies weakness, and the bosses were just big HP walls until closer to the end.
What really made me dislike this game was the story. The protagonists are two dimensional, to the point where you question why they even speak at all, and the story beats revolve around one character who has no personality besides being a really nice guy. Any time there is a big event in the plot that feels like it could change the in game world forever, everything is quickly resolved with what feels like a snap of the fingers.
I was so disappointed in this game, especially with how much I loved The Messenger. Don't make anymore JRPGs Sabotage.

The Test series have been a very enlightening experience from the first game to this latest release. The questions this time around felt both general enough, but pointed enough to really make you reflect, and I think any media which gives you the space to do so is very important.
Thanks for another game to help me get through a tough period in my life.

Marsh is a very fun platforming boss battle type game that is very similar to Cuphead.
What I really like about Marsh over something like Cuphead is the movement. You must jump and move at a fast pace to collect limited ammo to use against a boss. I found that gameplay loop to be easier to pick up and sometimes much more enjoyable overall than a game like Cuphead.
While this game includes music by other people, the core mechanics of this game and the art was completely done by one person, and that should be enough to spend $5 to support an indie dev doing fantastic work.
Get this game! You won't regret it!

Test 1: Justice
Test 2: Discovery
Test 3: Angelic
WOW. What an amazing series of games and I'm so excited for Chasing Demons. Sounds like a fantastic RPG and the build up to it with these tests is a great way to garner hype and interest. As for this game and the others tests in this trilogy, the endings I got for all three of them echoed things I really need to read for my life at the moment. Thank you for making these games and thank you to everyone for commenting and playing them!

Test 1 word was Justice
Test 2 word was Discover
I have really enjoyed these games so far, and I'm about to play the third installment.
I enjoy the introspection that's needed to complete these games as intended. The words and dialogue I've received so far have accurately described my current life state. Very cool projects!

I was gifted a copy of this game by a close friend, and after playing it, I wish I bought it myself.
A Ghostly Rose is an homage to retro styled RPGs, but with a modern turn based combat system and an intricate narrative to follow. From start to finish, I was absorbed into the bleak world, continuing to fight absurd enemies for another breadcrumb of story to make any sense of what I was playing, which pays off very nicely thanks to zDS's combat mechanics and well written dialogue.
If you enjoy an intense turn based game, and Souls like lore building, you will very much enjoy this game as much as I did.

With a dark atmosphere, a spooky story, a killer soundtrack, and an in depth turn based battle system, this game has all the ingredients for a top tier horror RPG. The game does not like to hold your hand and you will die, but it's worth the fight as you progress through the creepy town of Figaro and unlock its secrets via puzzles and combat mechanics. It's insane to think all of this was made in such a limited engine as RPG Maker 2003.
I watched Riggy2k3 work on this game for countless of hours on his twitch stream as he put all of his heart and soul into creating such an enjoyable experience, and I hope he feels a sense of pride in this work! Bravo on releasing an amazing title and I can't wait to see what else he makes!
BUY DELUGE!
Also, there are books of all shapes and sizes and a fancy modern pisser 10/10

I could never recommend this game enough. I still think about Jimmy almost every day.
10/10 story, characters, writing, game play mechanics, thematic development, scares, etc.
One of the best purchases I have ever made for a JRPG, hands down.
Don't spoil anything for yourself. Just buy, play, and enjoy the ride.
Stay Fresh y'all
