After 100%ing this game (took around 40 hours) I can only say it is as amazing as the predecessor.
Yes the game has it's unfair or tedious moments but its all made up for with the good things about this game.
The style, the details in everything, the music it all fits together so well.
You can't stop playing because you always find something new, get a new skill, new tool, beat a hard boss.

For 20€ this game is an absolute steal.

A really good successor of Thief Simulator 1.
The game was improved in many aspects while still giving the same satisfying gameplay loop.
There is also some new stuff added like new gadgets, heists, more minigames, abilities etc.
For apparently only one dev doing this its a very good game.

Battlefield 2042 wishes it was this game.

This is how remakes should be done.

While I still play this game together with friends (the only way to enjoy it right now) and didn't refund yet, this game is in an absolute terrible state.
The game is unfinished, has bugs everywhere and the performance is an absolute joke even on high end PCs, averaging 30-60 fps on medium graphics with a 3080.
Here's a small list of things on my mind right now...

• No server browser for AoW mode (only for Portal mode)
  
• Only two 128 player game modes (Conquest / Breaktrough) for AoW
  
• No persistent lobbies (you have to join new server after every game)
  
• No community servers
  
• The specialist system doesn't fit a BF game and the their corny post game lines are absolute cringe
  
• No real scoreboard, only squad based scores
  
• No 3D spotting
  
• Not enough guns
  
• Even the few guns we have are terribly unbalanced
  
• Gun customization is really rough, too many attachments do the same / are useless
  
• No thermal scopes
  
• No corner leaning
  
• No suppression mechanic (snipers are pretty OP right now)
  
• Hovercrafts and Helicopters are OP
  
• Really lackluster and unrewarding scoring system (5xp for a heal lol)
  
• No cross-team chat
  
• You cannot change teams
  
• You cannot create a new squad manually
  
• Only 4 people in squads
  
• No squad field upgrades
  
• No Squadmate video preview on spawn screen
  
• No rank system, just plain numbers
  
• Poor map rotation because of non persistent servers
  
• The level of map destruction is laughable
  
• Maps way too big even for 128 players
  
• Maps feel empty in between capture zones with no cover
  
• No naval maps
  
• Not enough pure travel vehicles, sometimes you have to walk 3 minutes just to die instantly
  
• Terrible UI design
  
• No HUD or icon opacity / scaling options (can't see anything with so many icons on screen)
  
• No statistics screen
  
• The crazy amount of bugs

These are just a few that come to my mind, there are a lot more problems with this game, not even talking about all the bugs. Making a list for those would make this post explode.
For now I would say don't buy it and in good old BF fashion wait for a sale in a year when the game is more or less "fixed".

Hands down the best platformer game I ever played, the art style, music, mechanics and fights fit so well together.
If you like hard platformers and you don't have this game yet you must be living under a rock, get it now!

If you like getting yelled at by people with 2$ headsets which at the same time sound like there is an airplane starting in the background, this game is for you.

This game is probably responsible for most of my hair loss.

The reviews of this game don't lie! It's an extremely well executed roguelite platformer, it gets quite hard in the later stages but I never really feels unfair. The game also gets balanced quite often so you can never be too sure if the OP combination you found will last forever which makes you look out for other combinations aswell.

One of the best remakes in the recent years, it's a shame that the RE3 remake was not as good.
If you played trough both scenarios I advice you to test the (unofficial) item randomizer as it adds quite a few new funny perspectives to the game, kinda nice if you loot the minigun or the rocket launcher in the beginning :)
