actually good game

I am rarely one to openly voice my grievances, but my recent experience with this game has left me flabbergasted. I'm typically a patient individual, understanding that games will have their quirks and glitches. However, the sheer quantity of issues that pervade this particular title is beyond any reasonable threshold of acceptance. It's quite baffling how a game in such a woeful state was permitted to be released.

To start with, the Bomb Vest, touted as a significant feature, simply doesn't function as promised. It's as if the developers toyed with the idea of implementing an engaging mechanic, but left us with nothing more than a decorative item.

Additionally, the networking is deplorably inadequate. Frequent disruptions, lag spikes, and rubber banding make it practically unplayable. This is only exacerbated by a horrifying hit registration system, where clearly landed shots somehow miss their mark, leaving you frustrated and bewildered.

A recurring issue is the unreliable queuing system. More often than not, I find myself unable to queue and compelled to restart the game entirely to resolve the issue. This frequent disruption to the gaming experience is quite frustrating.

As if these issues weren't enough, the game itself seems to suffer from an identity crisis, crashing unpredictably and without explanation. This takes away the fun and turns the entire experience into a gamble of 'when' rather than 'if' it will crash.

In regards to gameplay mechanics, there's a significant issue where if an enemy dodges, not only do you not gain any experience or cash, it also disrupts your win streak. This is a perplexing design choice, as it feels inherently unfair.

There's also a complete lack of penalty for players who decide to Alt-F4 out of games. This allows for rampant game abandonment with zero consequences, severely tarnishing the overall player experience.

Quests, which should be an engaging part of the game, often become exercises in futility due to numerous bugs that render them impossible to complete. This leads to a deeply unsatisfying experience, where your time and effort amount to nothing.

On the topic of weapons, the revolver shoots at a blisteringly unrealistic speed, turning an otherwise skill-based weapon into a spam-happy tool. This, along with the Golden Boira that is surprisingly inferior to a standard AK, adds up to a disappointing weapon balance.

Additionally, there's a speed-up card feature, which in theory sounds like a fantastic mechanic. But, the subpar networking reduces its utility drastically. The character that's meant to speed up instead just teleports around, rendering the feature useless.

Map mechanics and physics are equally broken. Molotovs on the Truck Map are able to damage players on top of the orange truck, even when thrown at the truck's floor. This lack of logic carries forward to an even more bizarre issue, where players can clip through the cars on the Truck Map, leading to inexplicable deaths.
