there are plenty of tryhards and cheaters but the gameplay is still fun — as long as you don’t focus too much on winning. it’s especially great with friends! just be careful though — riding a motorcycle downhill can get you killed if you’re not paying attention.

A Game That Aims for the Stars, but Misses a Few...

Since the dawn of time,
we’ve looked timidly at the stars,
wondering if we’re alone in the universe.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Scars Above dares to answer that question
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀— not with awe, but with action.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀────────── ❖ ──────────

OVERVIEW ↴

Scars Above is a challenging sci-fi third-person action-adventure shooter that fuses the thrill of overcoming difficulty with a layered, intriguing narrative. Set on a mysterious alien world, it invites players to survive, explore, and uncover its secrets — one step, and one scar, at a time.

GRAPHICS & AUDIO ↴

The visuals are a mixed bag. Some players seem impressed — me? Not quite. Sure, the game has detail and plenty of light. The distant views can be stunning, but heavy fog kills the moment. Despite biome variety, everything starts to blend together, lacking any real wow factor. Monster designs improve later on — with Alien-esque creatures and a few surprise encounters (yes, you, space rhinos). Those were nice.

What really dragged the visual experience down? Lifeless facial animations and painfully stiff hair physics — and this was on ultra settings.

On the flip side, the audio is excellent. Great soundtrack, solid ambient sound design, and voice acting that actually holds up.

GAMEPLAY ↴

The devs wear their inspirations on their sleeves. Story-wise, it leans heavily into classic sci-fi films, while gameplay takes notes from the Soulslike playbook. And yes — it shows. The further you venture, the harder it becomes to save. Boss fights are unforgiving, regardless of your level. Every misstep sends you back to the last pillar, and all you can do is pray the next attempt won’t wreck you again.

There’s a neat scanning mechanic and occasional scene reconstructions reminiscent of Detroit: Become Human — sadly, they only appear a few times. The core loop becomes repetitive after a while. What starts as excitement slowly morphs into fatigue.

STORY ↴

You play as Dr. Kate Ward — biologist, engineer, and member of SCAR, a unit sent to investigate intelligent alien life. Stranded on a hostile planet, she’s forced to rely on science and survival instincts to find a way back home. The world is brutal, but not without its allies.

The strongest narrative moments come from Kate’s scientific insights. Everything has an explanation, a reason — and it’s cool to see a protagonist solve problems with intellect instead of just brute force. The intro, with its “Robinson Crusoe in space” vibe, is great. But it drags later, and the ending? Underwhelming. I expected more. Still… one scene hit hard emotionally. That moment stayed with me.

BUGS & GLITCHES ↴

Technical issues are rare, but they exist. In one boss fight during the hypothermia phase, time kept ticking even after all enemies were down — trapping me in the arena. On the flip side, some bugs worked in my favor: killing bosses from outside the combat zone? Yes, please.

Minor glitches popped up, especially when squeezing through tight gaps.

CONCLUSION ↴

Scars Above has potential — a lot of it. But it doesn’t fully capitalize on its best ideas. The game feels too short for its price tag, and while you can earn 100% achievements without much effort, it leaves you wanting more — not because it’s great, but because it never quite gets where it wants to go.

That said, it’s far from a failure. There’s something here for fans of tough gameplay, moody sci-fi, and smart protagonists. Just don’t expect it to change your life.

Final verdict?
Worth a shot — but don’t expect a masterpiece.

A Surprisingly Addictive Simulator.

The game transferred from mobile to PC perfectly
– and it’s better than you'd expect.

If you’re looking for a relaxing yet engaging game that lets you build a stable empire from the ground up, Rival Stars Horse Racing delivers exactly that — and more.

GAMEPLAY ↴

This is a constantly updated horse racing and breeding simulator with a satisfying gameplay loop that balances management, strategy, and action. You’ll spend hours training horses, managing your ranch, participating in races, and carefully breeding new champions with the perfect genetic traits.

The mechanics feel polished, especially for a game that originally launched on mobile. Everything from racing to stable upgrades runs smoothly, and there's a rewarding sense of progression as your horses and facilities improve over time.

GRAPHICS ↴

Visually, the game is surprisingly solid. The horse animations are detailed and realistic, and races are smooth and exciting to watch. While the story takes a backseat, it provides just enough context to keep things moving without getting in the way of what really matters — the horses.

VALUE ↴

This game is built for long play sessions. Whether you're casually checking in or grinding to dominate the leaderboard, it offers great value for its price. No aggressive monetization, no paywalls — just a clean, enjoyable experience.

CONCLUSION ↴

A well-crafted simulator with a lot of heart and a dangerously addictive core loop. Even if you’re not typically into horse racing games, this one might surprise you. Totally worth the price, especially if you enjoy sims or management games.

OVERVIEW ↴

Forza Horizon 5 isn’t just another racing game — it’s a celebration of cars, freedom, and stunning open-world design. Whether you're a hardcore petrolhead or a casual driver, this title welcomes you with open arms and a full tank.

GAMEPLAY ↴

One of the biggest strengths of Forza Horizon 5 is how effortless it feels behind the wheel. The controls are incredibly intuitive — whether you're using a keyboard or a gamepad, the driving experience is smooth, responsive, and fun from the very first moment.

You can freely explore an expansive and beautifully crafted version of Mexico, filled with vibrant biomes, secret roads, and ever-changing weather. From dusty deserts to lush jungles and picturesque coastlines, the world begs to be explored.

GRAPHICS ↴

The visuals are nothing short of breathtaking. The landscapes are rich, detailed, and dynamic, changing with seasons and weather. From golden sunsets to tropical storms, every drive feels cinematic.

STORY ↴

While the storyline is minimal and doesn’t try to overshadow the gameplay, it provides enough structure to keep you moving forward. It's there to support, not distract — which is exactly what many players appreciate in a sandbox racer.

BUGS & GLITCHES ↴

If there’s one small downside, it’s the character models — the human avatars in the game feel somewhat outdated compared to the gorgeous cars and environments. Luckily, they don’t play a major role, so it’s easy to overlook.

CONCLUSION ↴

Forza Horizon 5 offers a near-perfect driving experience — fun, liberating, and visually breathtaking. With an accessible difficulty curve, an abundance of content, and a wide range of vehicles to suit every taste, it’s easy to lose track of time in its gorgeous open world.

It lets you live the dream of driving your favorite cars — from timeless classics to cutting-edge supercars — all without the real-world costs. And with a constantly growing roster of vehicles, there’s always something new to discover.

Highly recommended for racing fans, car lovers, and anyone who enjoys open-world exploration with a twist of horsepower.

The Last of Us Part I 一 What Went Wrong?

I’ve had the pleasure of playing The Last of Us many times on PlayStation, and each time I fell in love with it all over again – both with the story and the graphics, whether it was the remastered version or not. That’s why I deeply regret what happened with the PC release.

It’s hard to even describe – it’s just one big collection of bugs. After so many years of waiting, what we got feels unfinished. Characters are bugged, textures often fail to load properly, the dubbing doesn’t match the scenes, and the subtitles contain mistakes. Altogether, it leaves a very mediocre impression.

On PlayStation, this is a truly exceptional experience and absolutely worth playing. Unfortunately, the PC version is a disappointment and a major failure.
