Definition of an indie gem. Really well paced mechanic introduction, loads of cool set pieces, buckets of charm and a story I never expected to be invested in. Slam the demo and then slam some coin down for Madama Biz and the crew!

Peerless DRPG mechanics, feel and combat with a HD lick of paint and a demon in a Mega Drive killer soundtrack. Classic retains it's extra strong mint level difficulty, you will die. Normal seems like a nice balance between kick in the jewels and rough massage. Picnic is a nice grind/I need to progress switch.

Massively overlooked and underappricated, get on it and be one of the cool kids.

Vaporwave Columbo with a cracking OST and one of a kind open ended mystery. If you like narrative driven games in any form, give this a look.

Well good for doing goals and a nice little version of Mario Strikers, the premier footballing simulation title. Well worth the price of a bucks or costa.

Cross Code is a 2d action RPG with excellent puzzle elements wraped up in the guise of an MMORPG. If you're a fan of 16/32 bit era RPGS, you're in for a treat!

Completly blown away by the polish in every regard and to think this is only early access! I'll write a full review after release but I'm gonna name drop a few similarities to other games that should get you giving this a go (which you should!)

Cross Code is a 2d action RPG with excellent puzzle elements wraped up in the guise of an MMORPG.

Story has a .HACK/Star Ocean kind of vibe, the writing is cracking being genuinely funny a lot of the time and protaganist Lea is a genius twist on the mute hero trope (Hi! Hi! Lea.)
Combat is a mash up of Enter the Gungeon + Secret of Mana with an emphasis on challenege that could scratch a Dark Souls enthusiast itch.
Progression system uses a spin on Final Fantasy X sphere grid with emphasis on MMO style trading monster parts for gear.
Puzzles get a special shout out as they're the best in ANY ARPG I've played since the Golden Sun series on GBA!.
Art/Ascetic comes from the GBA/PSX era of sprite art backed up by portait art that's anime in style but almost as expressive as the famous french animations studios.

All in all, I'm having a blast with Cross Code and I hope Radical Fish gets all the success they deserve with this gem.

Awesome battle system + the campest story setting and charaters = a must buy for RPG fans.
