Don't play these levels on UV-Fast pistol starts unless you are prepared to die repeatedly and painfully. Plutonia has chaingunners and revenants, and Evilution has hitscanners in every place imaginable. Since I'm a masochist and didn't save mid-level, I enjoyed my experience with it!

My favorite of the so called 'Doom clones', because it fits the bill better than the rest. Some may be turned off by the fact that it's 'fantasy Doom with an inventory,' but that's exactly why I love it. The level design, especially in the pre-expansion levels, are more immersive than some of Doom and Doom 2's levels (looking at you, MAP12-20.) Even some of the levels in the expansion managed to impress me, like E5M6 and E5M7. The starting levels in both of these are kinda ridiculous though, and require lots of patience if you're playing them on a higher difficulty.

The hardest difficulty is definitely much more doable than Nightmare, even when starting each map with just the wand. It's more comparable to UV with fast monsters, due to the fact that the enemies don't respawn. I recommend you try this mode out after you've gotten comfortable with the game's mechanics, and wand start each level for added difficulty too!

(I should also mention that the version this purchase comes with is played through DOSBOX, but you can easily remedy this if you wish by installing a source port like Crispy Heretic, DSDA-Doom, or GZDoom depending on your preferences.)

If you've played the previous Tropico games starting from 3, you might assume that if you've played one, you've played them all, right? Probably not. I personally think this entry in the series is a chimera of 4 & 5's features (moreso the latter), as well as the lovely new features that set it apart from the rest of the series, like the archipelagos and raids. The new developers did a rather good job in making the game feel like a proper Tropico game!

Ever wanted to bury a stake into the heart of a vampire waifu? This is the game for you. Anybody that likes vampire hunters will get a kick out of this game.

It's pretty buggy, but as we speak (October 31st, 2016), it is only $0.99! Well worth that much if you're into a few hours of spooks.
