I love the concept of this game, and I'm giving in a positive review because I would play it again and I'd play 100 games like this. However, some of it is a little iffy. If they tightened up the clues and solutions a bit it would be a must-play.

I didn't click with it at first. Some of the tutorials were HARD and I didn't see the fun. Then suddenly it started to click and now I'm hopelessly addicted.

I love the concept and idea of this game, and I would give it a wholehearted thumbs up if not for one very frustrating thing: as you move up to higher levels you soon realize that the answers are very messy and inefficient. It becomes really unsatisfying to be given a clear-cut output requirement, and then learn that the gold medal solution is to intentionally do a few things wrong. It just doesn't sit well with me, with a game like this you want the solutions to feel tidy and logical and the "right" answer. You don't want sloppy mistakes to actually lead to better achievements.

I never clicked with Dark Souls, and I almost gave up on Elden Ring toward the start of the game. It seemed just too punishing and not fun. However, after watching some tips and learning the ropes a little more about how to upgrade myself and not be too precious about what to do, the game opened wide up. Now I'm almost 200 hours in and it just keeps getting better. One of the best action games of all time. And I love how grim it is, it's like death metal come to life.

Good game with a lot of heart, clever ideas, great pixel graphics and awesome voice acting. The gameplay interface has a stange critical flaw: there is no "point n click". The mouse is pretty worthless as you can't point and click at anything, so there's a floating cursor just taking up space. The tank controls aren't necessarily bad but it's just a weird UI choice.

The other flaw in my opinion are the puzzles lack any real challenge or critical thinking. There are hints of it, but mostly they are wacky and delightful things to do but the puzzle structure is very linear and basically amounts to a fetch quest. Again, very very close to being perfect. Looking forward to the next game from this developer.

Incredible game. Seriously comparable to Mario, Zelda, Portal. I was so stoked to enter every new area because it was just so fun. Bummed it’s over.

Absolutely incredible game. Like Outer Wilds in ancient Rome. I’m in love with that puzzle/narrative structure. Incredible writing, history, twists, and concept. I guess my only wish was that it was a little more challenging from a puzzle standpoint. Everything you’re doing is so interesting and compelling that you forget that it’s not very hard. Don’t spoil yourself and get this game.

Absolutely stunning. One of the best written and illustrated games I’ve ever played. More on the level of a historic novel than a game (well, it is). I actually learned a lot about real medieval history throughout and was gripped the entire time. This game deserves all the recognition in the world.

Absolute masterpiece. One giant lateral thinking logic puzzle, with one of a kind art design that hits me deep in my Mac Plus childhood. I literally could play 50 sequels of exactly the same type of game and never get tired of it. The type of ah-ha! moments this game provides is exactly what I look for in every adventure game and so rarely end up getting.
