if only giger was alive to see what the team has done with his work. they did such a great job conveying not only the imagery, but also the philosophy of his work. the achievement cant be overstated. they took the mixed bag visual and emotional ramblings of a deep artist, and turned it into something cohesive, timeless, and playable! ON TOP OF THAT they did so under the limitations of being a small studio. hats off to the badasses that put this together. looking forward to seeing what they do next.

edit: id like to add that theres this funny detail about the sound design of the game. its funny how the groans of the cave-like echos of the games stay with you after you turn off the game. the hum of my PC through my headphones is a haunting echo and reminder that the world of scorn now exists within the deep and twisted passages of my mind. a pleasant parting gift for the metal-inclined.

this is the best game ive played in my whole life, and ive been making and playing games for a long ♥♥♥♥♥♥ time.

-the game has a good habit of surprising you with memorable moments, gameplay options and strategies that you didnt know were possible. the freedom to play how you want to play.
-if you ever feel bored of doing the same thing over and over, you can just do something new and you will be rewarded with a fun and memorable experience.
-the level design is BALLER. every level has intent in its design, personality, and is jam packed with amazing moments for everyone to enjoy in their own way.
-the vibe of the game is only matched by the deadspace remake and callisto protocol. its perfect and honestly deeply meaningful to me.

-in its current state, the game is a work in progress. it will be interesting to see what the game will be like in the final state. animation/ physics bugs. getting shot at through walls. getting stomped by mechs through a wall. ect. also, the AI is BEAUTIFUL and amazing in its own right, but it still needs work as well. it would be nice to see more enemy attack formations and better ai companion survivability. the AI ecosystem is truly a marvel in its current state, but it could very well become the best ai in a game that weve ever seen, with a few additions and tweaks, i think.

if youre faint of heart, you might get annoyed by getting oneshotted and you might feel overly punished by losing some gear i guess. then you might blame the clunky mechanics or getting hung up on a loose piece of geometry or something, but for me, this game is a rock solid 11/10 all the way. looking forward to the updates fundog! truly inspiring work.

it says 22hours played at the time of this posting, but i actually have 40. been playin offline because im out of my home country at the moment.

timeless game. i keep coming back to this title all these years later and the online community is still keeping it alive with overhauls and frequent updates

i love this game. i admire its purity. A survivor. Unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality. its a smooth action/horror faithful tribute to the alien franchise and you can play it with your friends. it does that perfectly.

one last word about the single player. its my preferred way to play and...well, i cant lie to you about your chances, but you have my sympathies. 10/10

if you play this game without headphones, youre doing it wrong. if youre crying while thinking about her, youre doing it right. perfect game 10/10

Dont believe the haters:
- the controls are fine.
- the game can be tough for some people, but seasoned gamers will have fun with this game.
- i love it when i find a unique and fun game in an unlikely place.

cons:
- if youre a game dev, this is a good problem to have, but the game is so short and i want more. :(

real time table top strategy isnt a new idea, but the way its implemented here is simply the best there is. the games breakneck pace and cavernous depth is really addictive. at first, i didnt like the idea of the battle tickets, but it keeps me from spending too much time playing this so its a godsend. haha.

i have no clue how to navigate the menus, since i cant speak japanese but the game itself is great. 11/10
