An incredible experience of music and colour! The remastered game is great fun and holds up but might feel somewhat passive. Area X is the best 15-20 minutes of video games I have experienced this year and would I think be life altering in VR. If you're one for rhythm games, electronic music or particle effects you won't be disappointed.

This game is has everything an FMV adventure game needs: twists, turns, a tiny village with characters played by actors directed by self-aware hard working staff. And references engrained deep in British humour.

10/10 would play through again. Campaign for another.
