i put a few hours in, enjoyed it to a small degree. but as a whole, for the price, i cant recommend it. Its not that fun. Its impact is very small. The Precinct is lackluster and forgettable. No redeeming qualities. Should be a $10 game.

Feels empty. Great concept but poor delivery.

KCD2 slaps like a cornered special needs kid fighting a bully in the bathroom

TLDR: 200% of negative reviews boil down to "WhY iS tHiS nOt LiKe (insert civ 4/5/6)" while any claim of it being buggy is a hardware issue.

There are two things i know for certain:

1 this is the best civilizations game yet

2 theres a lot of people who hate change and cant read that are dropping negative reviews out of sheer incompetence.

more than anything i need to say this: The complaints about the game come from one of two places. People with sh*t PCs and mouth breathing troglodytes that hate change.

The UI complaints are actually nothing. The UI is great. If you cant understand it learn how to read and get some glasses. the problem is you full stop. If youre not ready for Civ 7 to be its one unique and different addition to the civ franchise, dont buy it. If you cant handle change, dont buy it. If you have trouble looking at map icons and identifying gold as gold, wool as wool and so on, dont buy it. This is not a carbon copy of your favorite civ game with new graphics. Only buy civ 7 if youre ready to let go of the past and try a new take at a civ game.

Genuinely, the review bombing has been disgusting and at the moment the top negative reviews are a circle jerk of no life losers who made their mind up about if they would like civ 7 way before launch. But this isnt civ 6 again and this behavior is super gross.

The old a*s dude with top review right now wrote a whole essay that basically boils down to "im old and i dont understand my computer thanks sid meier" while people wh oare just here to be negative cheer him on. Its super gross.
