great game

1.2 hours and i refunded it. Every other game runs over 100 fps with 2k monitor on my computer but this doesn't. Gameplay feels like f2p game/cod.

After fix updates and all that i can say this is so great game

All the bad games i have ever played this takes the first place for being so bad.

First of all. The game is dead and half of the players have some kind of cheats.


H1Z1

I bought H1Z1 when it was early access Zombie survival game (and this was before all of this z1 battleroyale stuff) I played it maybe 150 hours and got bored, so i left for a year. When i got back i realized that H1Z1 was pretty much dead game and Z1 Battleroyale was rocking hard. So i tested it and it was awfull. Glitches, Cheaters, Game crashes, Random timeouts, Server crashes, bad hitboxes, you name it. It was nearly impossible to play one game without at least one of the these problems.

It would be a lie if i say that i didnt have fun at all. But all the fun i actually had, was when i played with friend or some glitch launched our car in the air (this happened pretty often to be honest)
or when your ATV explodes for no reason at all :D




I think that main problem was lazy development. We have to remember that this game all time top player number was 151,239 and thats huge amount of players in the game at the same time. Skins and lootboxes where bought and sold too, so money wasnt the problem. Updates were boring and nearly every update broke more things than it fixed. This game started to lose players really fast and better battle royale games where released so these game devs couldn't save this sinking boat in time.




The Other problem

To be honest, i dont know what happened to the base game (H1Z1). All i know is that i bought an zombie survival game and year later i got battle royale game, H1Z1 was completely removed from steam store...Wait a minute ? so game that i originally bought got removed and then they gave me some bad battle royale game? is that even legal? and even if it is, why did the devs trew the basegame to the trash.



There isnt really more to write, mainly because this game is impossible to fix. So many things are broken that if i would list them all it would took me hours to write and i think that its unnessesary because this game is allready dead

after 3,600+ hours i have to say the game itself is a masterpiece. game mechanics works perfectly and some maps are pure gold...... however the community is horrible. It doesn't matter if you are best or worst player on your team you will get toxic comments and blames on you. If u want to play solo mm.. well i wish good luck for you... because mm is broken as hell. You WILL have 3 russians on ur team and let me tell u these people don't know how to use mic correctly. Then there is one british guy who thinks he is best player in cs go and blames every death on you... if u want to enjoy this game or at least win one game u need full lobby of friends.


Ranksystem is a joke. You can win 15 games in a row AND STILL NOT GETTING RANKUP but u can lose rank if you lose couple games in a row. Now lets say that you are LEM and you start solo match. Way too often you get teammates that are closer MG1 than LEM, at the same time your enemy team can be full Supreme and LEM lobby, And lets guess
which team is going to win that crappy match? BTW im not saying that its always like this but it makes this whole rank system pointless when you cant play with or against players you have same rank with.


Negev update.
Thing that completely ruined office since everybody is just spamming corners with it. Those who designed this new laser weapon have to be most bitter to cs go community ever.
You can literally hold one corned over 12 seconds. Even if you touch this laser beam you basically marked your own death so you have 2 options. 1. you either try to run or jump thru this beam and kill the negev guy, but this usually ends to your own death, Or 2. you wait until the time runs off.


Deleted Maps
Can somebody tell me why valve decided to remove good maps like Assault, Italy, aztec, dust, militia and cobblestone, There was nothing wrong with those maps and some of them where way better than what we have right now.


Map Updates.
Nuke is nothing compared to old one. I understand that this is only my opinion but i dont like this new one at all. Why they decided to remove the other entry to vents or why the hell they made it so easy to climb on the silo???.


Wingman.
Worst gamemode what you can play. Literally 90% of every game i have ever played i get some russian guy on my team and usually this guy has about 2 or 3 kills when the game ends. Anybody who says that wingman doesnt have hacker problem is just lying. Maybe 3 or 4 out of 10 games there is clearly a cheater.


Cheaters
Deathmatch, Demolition, ArmsRace, Wingman, Casual, DangerZone is filled with hackers. Its actually pretty funny that some community servers have better anti cheat system than Valve has after 7 years!!! . Worst part of this is that mm is filled with cheaters too. Its so painfull to wait 40 minutes game to end when enemy team has one unskilled arse hole with third party program. Reporting them doesnt do anyting. check those profiles 2 weeks later and you can see that they are still playing the game..

META
Meta is something that destroys fun out of every competitive game ever. Kids trying to copy pro players that what it is. Remember the fake flash ? yes ? oh then i have to ask. How many rounds you have lost because your teammate accidentally trows his main weapon, or both weapons behind the corner?



To wrap up this whole thing i want to say that this community is very slowly killing itself.
Toxic community filled with cheaters, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ map updates, pointless weapon updates and worst anticheat ever existed. Dont waste your money on this.

I dont care what other people say about this game. I absolutely love this. I cant recall any other pvp mmo game where the character customization is so good. Shooting mechanics are mix of "casual and arcade". gameplay can get really tactical when there is skilled people playing against you. if you just now found this game in steam. give it a try. and if you are player who left 6 years ago, give it a try again :D

This "game" managed to undo everything that made arma 2 dayZ mod great.

You spawn in without starting weapon and first thing you have to do is find some food because your character has some kind of Malabsorption Syndrome since you have to eat all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time! You run into first house you see and discover that there is no loot at all. Great! Now your hunger bar is yellow, and you start to run towards to the nearest town you know. Your character can run someting like 15 seconds and after that he start to jog, and while jogging zombies sometimes can hit you, and if they hit you your character becomes even slower.. so. now you are in town and you hunger bar is red and your health is in half. WOW you just found baddly damaged double barrel shotgun and two slugs for it!! But no food. Now your hunger bar starts blinking and your allready low health starts to drain. Your character becames even slower and last last thing you want to do is that you put your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 18 century shotgun barrel into your mouth and feed the zombies with your low IQ brains.

Well lets say that you managed to find food and now you have your shotgun, couple cans of spaghetti and two slugs. Awesome. now you go to police station in hope to find pistol or shotgun shells but unfortunately city had a riot two weeks before, because Chernarus had massive corona outbrake and all toiletpaper was sold out which caused the riot . Thats why only thing you gonna find in there is rubber bullets. tons of rubber bullets. For some reason you can kill yourself with those but if you shoot zombies head with it they wont die. well now you have enought food and some kind of ammunation now you can go to the NW-*vomit* OH ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. your character is sick. why? Good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ question. And now you are hungry again. Great. It seems like your character has HIV since he has so bad immune system. If your clothes are wet for 5 minutes you most likely get sick and voimit every 5 minutes.


I said that in police stations there is only rubber bullets and empty magazines. Well. It doesnt matter because every weapon feels like they are shooting rubber bullets or snothead bullets. Thats because even if you are wearing stabwest you somehow become bulletproof god and suddenly your enemy needs to have at least 10-20 bullets to kill you. Same with helmets. Okay i get it. Helmets are desined for protecting your head but come on. you shoot someone with assault rifle from 10 meters to the head and he doesnt die thats just stupid game desing.

This is only one game on earth where you can absolutely rekt a full geared guy with a butter knife. just spam mouse one and you will stunlock that poor bastard. in this kind of sitsuation where you are getting hitted with a knife just get up, open your fridge and crack open a cold one to stress relief since you can do absolutely nothing to stop this from happening. Oh. Another thing with melee weapons is that they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded. You can hit your enemy with sledgehammer to the head but he wont fall unconscious. but if you are having bare knuckle fight you will drop that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ down in 5 seconds. Your character has weird body strenght or maybe your character took too many multivitamin tablets because sometimes you can KO a guy with one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hit even if he is wearing a helmet with visor on it. After that take his weapon and make couple new breathing holes into his head and laught at great game desing.


In arma 2 dayZ there was usually two kind of players friendly people and bandits. Friendly people usually tried to help you, gave you food, weapons or medical supplies. Badits where people who killed everyone. Even fresh spawns. in DayZ Standalone there is only this weird "hyprid" style of playing going on. What i mean by this is that everytime player has a weapon there is 99% chance that he will try to kill you and if he doesnt have a weapon most likely he will yell something like "Friendly! Friendly! dont shoot dont shoot" and if you give him a weapon he just kills you. There is no friendly players anymore or at least i havent seen one in long long long looong time.

Looting is a joke, even tho its main concept of this game. If you manage to find actually good weapons, finding ammo for those is pain in the ass. Yes i understand that this is survival game but after 3 hours of farming ammo you most likely have something like 2-4 magazines. 120 bullets isnt a lot if you run into big firefight and if your enemy is wearing a kevlar west you most likely have to use 1000 tons of lead to kill him anyway. Food is some kind of extra rare item in this game. How many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times i have found weapon before any food, or how many times i have found stab west and bulletproof helmet beofre food? i know that you can hunt animals or fish but come on! i didnt bought this game to larp a fisherman, or build some kind of wooden shelter middle of nowhere, and that brings me to my next point why this game is so boring now days... BASES... after devs added base building the gameplay basically slowed down a lot. Now everyone is just camping in their base growing tomatoes and hoarding every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ valuable weapon. Weapon hoarding is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anyway because it eats the whole game idea. After you have 5 car tents full of weapons and food does it matter if you die in a firefight because you can just run to your camp and gear up in 5 minutes. That doesnt make any sense at all, yes you can make a statement that there was basebuilding in arma 2 dayZ on some servers, but it didnt slow down the gameplay because base building was fast in arma DayZ and back then people actually had some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ balls and people build their bases near "pvp" zones or at least tried to have some kind of pvp with other players insted of this camping ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Another thing i used to like in dayZ was that you were allways vulnerable, no matter what you were doing but there was allways a danger that somebody had you in his sights. Bases took all of this tension away and i absolutely hate that.

This game development is slow. Very slow. We have to remember that this game was first released in December 16, 2013. YES 7 years ago (nearly 8) and this game is still a buggy mess. according to Wikipedia "The alpha release sold over 172,500 copies in the first 24 hours, totalling over US$5 million in sales" and "During peak sales, over 200 copies were being purchased per minute and after one week over 400,000 copies had been sold" and "By May 2014, the game had sold over two million copies". This game made huge amount of money in 6 months and i can still recall that it took ages that devs fixed simple bugs like zombies that walked thru the doors or bandages that didnt stop you from bleeding. My theory is that Bohemia doesnt really know what to do with dayZ or how to make it into great survival game. Their ideas are all over the place, and they make weird decisions like removing guns and adding them later back in the game as a "new content"

I think that i wont come back to this game again but i gonna leave some of my ideas in here just in case if there is even one developer working at bohemia that actually still cares about this game.

-Adding map that shows you location (like in arma 2 dayZ)
-Adding starting weapon with 2-5 bullets in it
-Adding AI events. Something like that AI is defending little military base and loot in there would be actually good
-Remove stamina system. its just stupid. game is 90% of running anyway dont make it even slower
-Adding more zombies but making them slower so they cant hit you while you are running
-Adding more gun spawns and ammo. And cutting off that melee ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
-Adding helicopters and boats (like you guys promised)
-Making Base building faster and making bases easier to destroy
-Fixing bleeding system. If you are getting shot by 9mm pistol to chest you would be dead in 5 minutes right now you bleed like 15 minutes and after that you lose consciousness then you die.
