Moon Studios is creating something special by combining the ARPG genre with Souls-like combat and mechanics. Of course they bring their amazing art direction, best in class movement and fluidity, and subtle yet effective storytelling along with them for the ride. Moon is creating the game I've always wanted, which is essentially Path of Exile with a punishing and intentional souls-like combat system. While there is still more work to be done, and much more content to be added, what's currently available is certainly worth the asking price.

PROS:
Build Variety - whether you want to use a huge two-hander, a quick Katana, or a powerful staff that can blast out spells, you have a myriad of options to play. Not only this, but you can further dive deeper by investing into things like Freeze or shock. And not only this but maybe you want to focus on special abilites, or just raw damage. There are a ton of different ways to build currently, and multiple playthroughs are needed to try everything.
Combat- The animation based combat is intentional like any souls-like. But this game also allows you to set up to 4 different "runes" that act like special abilities. Not too mention both a block and parry system. Depending on your build, your combat experience will differ. It's insanely fun, addicting, and still punishing. Lastly, every boss fight rocks
Presentation - Moon Studios, despite their size, makes some gorgeous games, and this is no exception. Same goes with audio design.
New Content- Currently, the base story only takes around 20-30 hours to complete, though you can speed run through it in only a few hours. However there are certain systems like bounties, challenges, the Crucible, and the Breach that add a ton more stuff to do after you complete the story. The game also encourages multiple playthroughs. All of this, on top of "min/maxing" your build, and you have a game that you can sink hundreds of hours into. This is also Early Access, so new patches and content will come out.

Cons:
Performance - While the game currently runs great on my PC (Ryzen 9800x3d 4070ti Super) it didn't on my lower end hardware and PC. And I have seen many people complaining about Performance at max settings. This seems to get better with every patch.
Small World - Because Moon Studios wants a handcrafted world, that means there is no randomly generated areas. Unfortunately, in its current state the world is quite small and you will in no time find all the secret areas and hidden chests. One of my biggest pain points currently after 100 hours. I really can't wait to see more areas added to the game.
Enemy Types - Similar to above, because the game is in EA, there aren't the hundreds of different enemies like in POE2 or Elden Ring.
Leveling System - The current leveling system leaves a lot to be desired. It's reductive from the souls-series, so if you played a souls its no different. However, the ARPG nature of the game kind of clashes with this. It's not bad, but it could be much better. Luckily, Moon has already stated this will change.

Conclusion:
It's one of my favorite games to play right now. It's so addicting and I really just can't wait for more content, more weapons, more areas, more everything. I literally can't get enough. Again, this is the game I've wanted for over a decade and its here. Moon Studios deserves all your support.
