So far so good, i really like the atmosphere. It reminds me of playing games like half-life (very obvious inspiration for the game) and fear.

It's great to finally see this game come out. The game isn't very long but I don't see that as a bad thing. The game play was simple but fun. Movement felt good. Graphically pleasing. The only part I wish was improved is the stealth parts. I beat it in under 3hr and don't see much of a reason to replay it but i still think it is worth a play through.

I understand this game has some stuttering and graphical issues but this review is not about that.
Callisto Protocol is more frustrating then it is fun in my opinion. There have been non-performance issues in just about most parts of this game. Here are my reasons.

-FIRSTLY THE AMOUNT OF NARROW SPACES YOU NEED TO SQUEEZE THROUGH IS OVERKILL, i get its used as a way to cover up loading but GEE WILLIKERS there are a lot
-Combat doesn't always work as intended.
-The "Horror" tends to be more gross then scary.
-A lot of "Horror" moments take place out of the players control. For example SQUEEZE across this broken bridge "oh no bridge is collapsing.. Ahhh I could fall. Oh wait this is a cut scene. pssh, i'll be fine"
-Enemies and events are more frustrating then scary "Ugh, time to mash Y again".
-Melee being a major part of the game i upgraded the damage to max but by the time you can do that seemingly all
standard enemies gain the ability to mutate and become stronger before you can kill them with only melee. I Understand you can shoot them in the weak spot to kill them before that happens but it feels like upgrading melee damage was a waste.
-Items will sometimes disappear from the environment if you reload a save.
-Manual saves just load you at the last auto save point.

its simple and i like it. wont give you nightmares but it is panic inducing.

This is the only hunting game i've played but i really enjoy it.

If you get the atv pack there is a bug. i dont know if it happens to everyone but whenever i get off the atv my camera stays at whatever angle i got off the atv. so as long as you get off on flat ground you will be fine. just get back on the atv and drive to flat ground if this happens to you

Fun, best vr game to hop in and out of.

Played on xbox when game was released and recently started playing again on pc. Game had a rough start but has come along way since then. They fixed a lot of the issues and are still updating the game.
