Yes, Shale was amazing and I was thorougly shocked when I found out she was female since that is rare.
As for Morrigan's clothes, yes, they could have been better. All of the female clothes could've been, though, and that's not exactly the fault of the character. That's the fault of the developers making a game for males, by males. Of all the video games I've played so far, though, DAO has a decent story with some pretty awesome writing. Still problematic, as we both know, for many reasons. However, they actually made a story I could relate to, and developed characters in a way that most people don't. They could have done so much more, and made it even better, but it's still a step in the right direction. Again, this is just the point of view of playing a female character. It really does irk me that everything seems so much worse when you play a male character.
