It's like that one game with the capitalist raccoon named Tom, but with much more realism, hunting, vehicles (!), and plenty of other things to do! There's a bit of a grind involved, but it's one that's fun and keeps you going - you're basically aiming to get as much done as possible each day. It's very fun, and very addicting!

At the time of writing this, I've needed to search online quite a bit for answers to gameplay questions. There's not a lot of in-game information about how to go about doing things, as far as I know - it would be nice to see improvements on this aspect in the future. Other than that, this game is fantastic! 11/10!

Oh dear, this is very addicting.. the UI is a bit clunky and doesn't scale very well on larger monitors, some visual bugs exist in-game, but it's still incredibly addictive and very fun to mess around with! And may I say the campaign is actually pretty damn good! Wasn't expecting a game like this to have such a deep storyline :D

It's a fun game if you don't mind the grind. There's a decent variety of ways to make money, which at least makes the grind less.. grindy. Driving physics are quite nice, and the level design is absolutely gorgeous!

The best voxel-destruction game engine out there, hands down. I've spent more hours just smashing things and messing around with the physics than actually playing missions - but that's not to say the storyline is good as well! I just really enjoy breaking stuff, which this game lets me do very well.

This game is simply amazing! The visuals are beautiful, the physics are a great mixture of arcade/realism, and the framerate is very smooth and consistent! Just 10 minutes into the game and you'll know right away, this is a game you will pick up and play again and again!

I've owned this game since 2017 and have only played 8 hours. The devs screwed off to make Competizione expecting people like me to give them money /twice/, once for a game they never finished, and again for a game that was probably better off being an update. Don't waste your money!

Quite a hidden gem! The characters and backstory are a nice touch on top of the superb gameplay and excellent vehicle customization! It's definitely a fun game that challenges you to try different things, find the right car(s) for the job, and encourages you to build up your collection of Australian street racers. Win races or buy cheap cars off the classifieds to fix up and sell (or part out); the choice is yours!

If you enjoy working on cars, racing them for cash + reputation, and immersing yourself in a hilarious-but-awesome storyline -- this game is for you! Kudos to the devs!

Almost 600 hours of playing mainly GTA Online, and I gotta tell ya, the fact that Take-Two decided to outright ban modding in any way, shape, or form...that's not leaving a very good taste in my mouth. I'm talking about single player mods being totally banned, online modding is rampant and totally destructive.

I've always supported Rockstar, but this was the final nail in the coffin. Sometimes pressing the "Self-Destruct" button isn't always the best way to solve your problems...

UPDATE 12/20/2016:
After 2 months of little to no activity from the developers (wooo, 2 patches) and not listening to their community, I no longer recommend this game. Unless you want to download mods to enhance your experience, don't bother. The developers' idea of "car customization" is to let you customize a whopping 10 cars (yes, you heard it right! TEN! WOW!), and if you don't have the family kickback, that number dwindles down to 7.

This game had so much potential and the developers blew it. I respect them for their hard work and effort put into this game, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, listen to your community and stop spewing the same boilerplate responses to people who inquire about additional content. Why does everything these days have to be set in stone? Great story, horrible gameplay. Nothing to do after the story. Very very infrequent updates. Car customization patch is a total joke.

Before this game was a 10/10 for me because of this false sense of hope the developers gave me that told me "we hear you guys, we're listening and we'll be fixing the game on a regular basis"...that never happened. FPS patch was the last time they got a "patch" out. Now it's once a month, MAYBE. And even then it's only to add features that should've been in the damn game on day one. This game scores a 5/10 from me now. Don't waste your money like I did.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
This game is everything I've ever wanted. Realistic driving physics (SET YOUR DRIVING MODE TO "SIMULATION"), gunplay that doesn't make you feel invincible, and an incredibly detailed open-world that is unlike anything I've ever seen before in a game like this.

Sure there's bugs here and there, but we're on day 2 and the developers are hard at work on a patch for the FPS. They obviously care and that's why I feel this game deserves a 10/10, for originality, the storytelling, the gameplay, the audio, the realism of being in 1968...this game is AMAZING.

Muscle cars and CCR, you can't go wrong!
