Staying to the motto "if its not broken, don't fix it." and successor to Killing Floor 1, Killing Floor 2 continues to capture the fun and excitement of co-op First Person shooter gameplay by using the same old formula. Purchase big guns and putting bigger holes into the shambling undead. The guns themselves are worthy of an ode which Tripwire Interactive spend countless hours into perfecting them, making them feel realistic and destructive as it can be. With an updated graphics using Unreal Engine 3, better sound quality and even meatier gameplay, the game utilises a fantastic gore system which paints the room with wet dripping blood, shattered bones and eviscerated limbs caused by shotgun blasts, explosions and the swinging of a greatsword against the unprotected flesh of an ill-fated Zed. Killing Floor 2 promises hours of fun gameplay that works especially well with friends. A must buy if you like:

A) FPS games
B) Co-op with public or friends
C) Awesome weapons and gore
D) You owned and enjoyed Killing Floor

So after slightly over a year and finally out of Early Access, with changes in the game balances, both good and bad. I have to say the game is still pretty awesome. With 439 hours of KF2 play time and pretty much max level for all perks, the game is still rather amazing but flawed with weird bugs and expensive microtransactions. Some people blame the developers for being lazy and not honouring their word. My take on this matter ? It's a game and its their game. They can do what they like with it and if you don't like it, don't support it.

TLDR:

Still a good game, but fingers crossed that the developers will keep this game up to date with new stuff to kill with newer stuff to do the killing. And please bring back the old events from KF 1
