Before I found this game, I tried lots of game where I can build something freely, games like The Sims, Planet Coaster and so on. All those games where you can freely build and decorate something. However, it never clicked with me, mostly due to my lack of imagination I guess. Like those games give me too much freedom, there are so many things I can customize in those games, which unfortunately overwhelmed me and I felt I could never completed what I have in my mind with those games. Don't get me wrong, those games aren't bad at all, in fact, they're the best at what they are. But it's just doesn't work for me. It's like I have this perfect scenario in my mind, but I can't just bring it to real life no matter how much I try to build. Then I found this game.

Tiny Glade is a cozy building game that I've been looking for this whole time. Everything in this game just works. It's the first game I've played that I feel "yeah this is what I had in my mind when I start building this". The game is perfectly balanced between giving freedom of what I can do and intuitive just enough to help me complete what I wanted to do. And there's no objectives, no quest, no story, nothing. It's just you and your imagination.

I bought this game, built my first glade with just a small cottage and I was like "wait, that's it?". It felt so shallow. So I was gonna get a refund but then I saw others screenshots, and I was mind-blown. So I gave the game a second try after I saw what others did with their buildings, and I'm glad I did. My thought changed from "wait, that's all I could do?" to "wait, I CAN do that?? Wow!" in no time. It's so much fun when you found some new ways to create things.

Like I said, at first, I feel the game was very limited, in terms of what I could do. There were just a few options of buildings I can placed, few variations of windows, pathway, trees, etc. But what matter the most is your imagination. You can take this game as far as your imagination goes, you just need that little bit of creativity(and lightning, trust me, the light in this game makes everything x100 more gorgeous) to make things work.
