I bought this game on launch and while the game itself was half baked, the core systems like inter planetary exploration and variation kept me playing for a couple of weeks. With the Voyagers update I decided to give it another go, and it's amazing. Over the past 9 years, a great concept turned it into a massive, living universe—base building, fleets, multiplayer, story content, all without predatory monetization. VR is also pretty incredible in this game and if you have a headset you should definitely try it out.

10/10 would recommend.

In it's current state, the game is unplayable.

I'm a big supporter of early access and will continue to be but I can't remember a title from early access in a worse state.

In the first 15 min I experienced two game breaking bugs, from loading to a black screen to having my objects repeatedly getting stuck in the ground or flying into space. My patience has already run out and that's it for me.

Do not spend you money on this without future scrutiny of release notes and major bug fixes.

Edit: This is not even early access? Avoid at all costs.
