In a gaming community flooded with MMO RPGs and mythical spells, potion and magic; I really had nowhere to turn as a religiously historical FPS maven. I would have waves of attraction towards The Elder Scrolls but would soon be repulsed that fanciful foundation it had. It was only till I was researching an investment into The Elder Scrolls online that I came across a game that would fit my strict criteria. Kingdom Come: Deliverance, a ultra-historic medieval simulator, stocked with the most difficult gameplay and emotional storyline the likes the roleplaying community has never seen. I was hooked, I may have been a month late to the party and not a backer from is early days on kickstarter, but I felt the same weight this game put on any steam library. Between the graphical programming for future hardware and insane combat mechanics I couldn't be more excited for the day I could afford the $60 game. It was worth every penny and had a story only a classic novel could compete with. I'm not afraid to say that I cried at the end of the journey this game made me suffer through because with and average completion time of 100 hours who wouldn't be emotionally bonded with the complexity of the characters and the revolutionary beauty of the bohemian scenery. This masterpiece didn't come without its faults, horrible framerate and game breaking graphical errors did challenge fan's loyalty in the first year. These issues would soon all be mended by the godlike team of warhorse studios with a minuscule independent team with a nationalist dream of sharing a unforgettable part of Czech history. This game is drastically unique from any other game on the market for being an unforgiving nightmare that will test your patience with a extreme difficult only matched by Dark Souls. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend committing to the completion of this game before purchasing, because it was not designed for ♥♥♥♥♥ casuals like most RPGs.

Early Access Review
I’ve been waiting for this game for over a year, expecting different things each month as development continued, as an active participant of Blackmill’s Verdun 1914-1918 for over 13 years, I’ve always longed for an expansion or at least more significant down-loadable content other than a new map. I would joke to myself and friends I would introduce to the game, about the excitement an eastern front simulation would bring to me. After Verdun’s more than desired, full release on steam; I was pleased to read that an accessory to the immensely successful game was being made. I counted down the days till release and on November sixteenth I was abducted by the Tsar’s army and placed on the border of Prussia to fight the Bavarian military I once called brothers. Confusing and mindless wondering of the landscape’s seemingly endless terrain, is what I found in my first hours of fighting. I was cultivated by unsuppressed movement of the eastern front militants as a far cry from the days of unrelenting stipulation of the 1st Reich. The new game mode “maneuver” is a invigorating, helter-skelter form of organization I have not seen the likes of sense of golden days of Team Fortress 2. I was rapturous prior to Tannenberg’s release and I still am, eight days later. This game is a must buy for any 20th century war enthusiast and a game a Verdun fan should already be playing.

As a war enthusiast myself, this game is one of the best have ever seen, it shows the horror of the great war with full intensity and puts you in the boots of a solider in the front lines. I greatly recommend that you get this game, it is completely worth the price and will provide you with years of enjoyment
