Whenever they feel like it, the AI can one hit KO you without any chance to get back up.

I miss Fight Night.

Phenomenal game. The depth and quality of the content is really great already. The only downside at the moment is the occasional bug - being early access it's totally understandable and does not make the game unplayable at all. Once the bugs are fixed Shadows of Doubt is an easy 10/10 game. Great atmosphere, great soundtrack, perfect noir detective gameplay.

I see a lot of hours ahead.

Pretty great game. A blast in co-op, especially when planning and trying to complete objectives tactically. Lots and lots of unlocks which can be earned without micro-transactions.

My biggest gripe is the AI feeling really cheaty sometimes. Occasionally they'll teleport or have ESP about your location. Getting killed while locked in an animation can be frustrating, but these things happen rarely enough that it doesn't ruin the experience.

Great concept, poor execution. Maybe someday this will be worth the price tag. It's nothing but pure rage in it's current state.

Firstly, every match you're at the mercy of the map generation. If the terrain layout is not favourable, you're screwed. If there's an infected town too close you're screwed. Both those things happen often.

Assuming best case map gen, good resources, good room to expand. You're still going to lose because the balance of the game is way way off. Your own soldiers are very weak, especially once the zombies start moving in hordes, which doesn't take too long. The real killer is the defences. Wooden walls are like paper, if properly defended you can hold off the usual zombie attacks, but every so often a large horde comes in from a random direction. When that happens your wooden walls will fall. Guaranteed. This game leaves no room for mistakes, if a single zombie gets into your city they'll almost always go straight for residential, once the houses start falling it's game over.

You may eventually get far enough into the tech tree to get stone walls. Unfortunately they're like cardboard. Large hordes will still blow through, and at that point in the game the zombies are also getting tougher. There is no reasonable tech up for your own soldiers to respond to the growing zombie threat.

I want to like this game, I love the concept and the artwork is good. I even enjoy a decent challenge, but I can't even fully explore what the game has to offer because I'm having to constantly start from scratch after some nonsense horde tears through my carefully planned defenses. I haven't even mentioned the resource gathering, which needs continuous tending with everything relying on everything else. I don't hate it, but it's a constant distraction when you're also trying to handle the constant attacks.

Some rebalancing to the infantry & defences and some fine tuning of the map generation will turn this negative review into a postive. Until then playing this game is just rage inducing.

Stationeers is off to a great start! I've been in the early access trap more than a couple times, I can safely say Stationeers has rolled out in great shape!

I'm quite a few hours in now and still have barely scratched the tech tree. WHen they say "this is not a casual game" they mean it. If you like Factorio, Space Engineers, Empyrion then Stationeers will be another great addition to your library.

As of the time of this writing the game has a couple bugs, but nothing totally game-breaking. Just make sure you save often! I've had no problem keeping my framerate up w/ GTX 1070. Solid 60 fps all the way. Multiplayer can be a bit laggy, but I see that there's already been a patch issued for those issues since I've last done multi.

Speaking of patches, the dev team is incredibly active! Multiple patches per day since the release - and they are also actively getting feedback and making bug fixes on the fly. Can't ask for more from an early access team.

For all those complaining about the control scheme, give it another shot. Seriously. The controls do take some getting used to, I'll admit. But once you've got the general idea of it down it's no issue at all to work quickly and efficiently. It really is a necessary style of control for the type of gameplay that's going on. Trust me, it gets better.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing where this game goes. Already off to a great start, and new things coming every day. I'm 14 hours into my current station, and there's more work to be done!

Fantastic Game! This one has it all, a bit of puzzle solving when designing your factories, a bit of strategy when expanding and dealilng with the biters, some good combat there too. The devs are very active and write lengthy posts about what they're working on every Friday! Couldn't ask for more with this one.

The Total War game that really defined the direction this series would be going!

All these years later it's still an excellent game, easy to get into and highly addicting.
