A slow burn that ignites into an impressive flame

TLDR: It has its flaws, but it delivers a great and nostalgic JRPG experience nonetheless..

It is pretty much what I hoped for, except for the poor localization. I don't think too much about it and I try not to be bothered by it at the same time.

It is reminiscent of the Suikoden games and delivers a very nostalgic feel and experience all throughout. It's as if I was reunited with an old friend. It offers similar and new gameplay mechanics, a few mini-games, castle/hq building, and recruitment(none are missable afaik). It's not a 1:1 copy as it is a different game, but expect that there are a few hints and callbacks to the Suikoden series.

The story/campaign is okay, it's just that I find it predictable as it is not as brutal and dark as that of Suikoden games.
The gameplay is top notch, nothing too fancy, and they stuck with what has worked for games like these.
The characters, both recruited manually and through the story are all voiced, some stand out and some not as much, and none are missable which allows just about anyone to completely recruit all playable npcs in the game. The banter and dialogue keeps it fun. Balancing could be better.
My only gripe is that the localization has issues and isn't the best, but it is not gamebreaking in any way, in fact, it adds to the humour that is already present in the game, at least for me.

Overall, it's a great JRPG, and another great time sinker.

TLDR: Elden Ring hits different. It isn't perfect, but it's one of the best souls games, if not the best.

Much like its predecessors, the game can be punishing, yet can be somewhat easy.

Souls games can be quite intimidating for newer players, but this is as beginner friendly as it gets. The addition of its beautiful, open world offers a lot of freedom to do whatever one desires. It's a breath of fresh air. The joy of exploration and discovery along with the varying difficulty of combat, will keep you on your toes every single time. May it be in solo, or in coop.

The storytelling, in my opinion, is a lot better compared to previous releases, coupled with great & interesting character, & world design. I just feel like the open world may seem a bit empty at times, but I don't really find that as an issue since the game has lots to offer to keep me occupied, be it a dungeon, or a great enemy/open world boss that I happen to pass by on the way to the objective, or even a friendly face every once in a while. You're not tied to a linear way of progression, and you can do as you please.

For those into coop/multiplayer, this part of the game isn't bad, but it ain't good either. I can say that one thing to look forward to is the amount of improvement it can get (if it will anyway), and the same goes for every other aspect of what is already an amazing game. You just can't have it all.

Some of the launch issues are still in the game currently. They're probably working on it. I barely encounter any bugs and stutters because there are workarounds, and should you look it up, are also all over the internet to help you out. It just needs better optimization and it'll be perfect. I guarantee!

Issues aside, it's a great game nonetheless. The positives pretty much outweighs the negatives.

11/10 will fall for "hidden path ahead".

It's more of the same Dying Light experience that we know and love, not to mention that the parkour and free roam improved tenfold. (It's what actually sells the game)
It's graphically pleasing and performance has been buttery smooth and I have no regrets getting the game. I've only experienced a few bugs here and there but nothing game breaking. It's been a fun experience so far and I've only been scratching the surface!
Even with the denuvo implementation, I manage to get around 80-100 fps using an rtx 2060S with dlss on balanced. It's only gonna get better from here! Make sure to update your drivers! ❤

The few downsides so far:
- Anti aliasing has no off option in-game, so we get blurry visuals unless we turn it off by editing the config file.
- I believe coop isn't fully functional at the moment. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
- Denuvo with a bit of a performance hit.
- You can't bind mouse 4 & 5 buttons (Currently being worked on).
- Infinite deathloop / out of mission area bug (It's not clear what causes this, but it is STILL being worked on as well).
- Physics is somewhat worse than the first game (Mods can be a solution).
- A few co-op bugs here and there.

One of the best games ever, both gameplay and graphics wise.

I sure am glad it finally made its way to PC, and though performance and stability seems to differ from setup to setup, it's been stable on my part and I'm able to enjoy the game with no issues at all.

Everything ran smoothly on both my Zephyrus laptop and my home PC. Your frames might dip here and there, but that's mostly on the part of the game's optimization.

Should you buy it?
If you're into open world adventure rpgs, and would like to enjoy a good story throughout, a big YES.

On sale? Most definitely.

If you still have doubts, just remember you can buy the game, try it for two hours, and decide whether to keep or refund the game.

Tbh for the people who are worried about the game's optimization, just settle for the game and enjoy for now. Just because it performs "poorly" and below your standards, doesn't mean it's unplayable. It'll get better, just like every other game out there. The game was previously locked at 30fps on PS4 and it still looked GREAT. The game still runs beautifully on 60+ fps and I know it sucks not having it run at 144hz or more, but it'll do, FOR NOW.

Remember, you don't always have to crank up the graphics to enjoy the game. Consider playing on the original preset and have a smoother overall experience! :)

A Good sequel set 17 years after the events of Far Cry 5. Featuring a vibrant and colorful post-apocalyptic Hope County.

Story's good, although it's a bit short. It's just FC5 on a smaller scale. Would definitely pass as an expansion to FC5. Unfortunately, it's not. It's a full game.

It's more of the same Far Cry game, with a bunch of changes, but with a lot less to do. Still, it's definitely one of the most fun installments in the series.

Ubi could've done more, but maybe it's best that they didn't.

Should you get it?
At its current price? Maybe.
On sale? Definitely.

For a free to play title that came out years ago, Warframe is pretty decent. I played for a few good weeks in its early years, but now i've started to play again and invest a little bit of time into it once more.

First off, the customization in the game itself is amazing. You can customize your frame, your weapons, your ship, your pets and companions. There's ton of color palettes that'll help you customize your frame even better, some skins, helmets, sigils & regalias, syandana or capes, you name it. Heck, you can even decorate the inside of your ship! you can even build your own Dojo or Clan house and design and decorate it as you wish! It's almost guaranteed that you'll never come across someone with the same customization and taste in fashion. #fashionframe

Second, the gameplay. Gameplay is fluid. You can play the game however you like. Either go in guns blazing, play it stealthy, or just hack n' slash your way towards the objective and then to extraction. You also get to do awesome maneuvers on foot or in air. Bullet time? That's some Max Payne ♥♥♥♥ that makes it even better! It's combat and parkour at its finest. You wanna play as a tank, support or dps? The game's got you! Different frames and loadouts for different occasions and playstyles!

Third, the content. There's lots to do in warframe, it can be a little overwhelming at first but everyone gets the hang of it. You'll be unlocking planets, warframes, weapons and a lot of other stuff either through quests, alerts or events in game. I just can't write about most of it right now since I feel like I might choke on the content just by thinking about it.

Fourth, the community. The community is quite helpful and welcoming. Even the moderators in game are quite engaged in the community. You can just ask questions in region chat and people will gladly answer. Ask for help and people will. I've never even seen a bit of toxicity in-game, other than that of weapon mods and Saryn. kek

So is it worth playing? Definitely.

It's one of those games that continue to compete against other titles, old or new. Heck it might've given other recent AAA titles a run for their money. You know what it is. :D

~You have been playing for over an hour. Please don't forget to take a break.~
