EDIT: 2024-05-10 The SNOY empire has captured three more of our democratic worlds and refuses to release their hold on the other 177. This is not managed democracy! Either we dive together or don't dive at all.

2024-05-06 My fellow Helldivers we have won a major victory in the name of liberty. Our brothers and sisters sacrifices were not in vain. Today, our greatest enemy has learned the righteous might of managed democracy.

For the Creek!
For Super Earth!

Honestly did not expect such a great game for the cost of nothing. A little simple but any game that can get me to say "**** me" in tricky situations is great imo. I recommend everyone give this game a try especially since you will only lose time if you don't like it. Will definitely play again, and I hope the developer makes a sequel.

First of all I went into this game knowing very little about it. I enjoyed the story, and was lucky enough to not get any gamebreaking bugs. At first I could understand the complaints of unhappy gamers. The game definitely was not where it should be after many years of development, but I decided to let CDPR have a chance to correct that. Today was the final straw. After many patches and what feels like blatant lies, I feel CDPR has let down their community. There are many issues that still need to be resolved, and the promised free dlc was a major let down. At this point, I would tell anyone if they really want to play this game to wait for it to go on sale at maybe $30. This not worth $60. With $60 you can objectively get two better rpgs to play, Skyrim and Fallout. I tried my best to give CDPR the benefit of the doubt, but I no longer can. Save yourself the trouble and buy something more enjoyable.

If you loved playing Warband, you'll love playing Bannerlord. There's nothing like watching your archers rain down arrows as your infantry slaughter the poor sods that survive. This is a great game for people who love giant battles where the outcome is decided by how well you can control the flow of the battle. Don't like being a noble? That's fine you can be a criminal and rob villages and beat up other gangs. Fighting not quite your thing? You can sit back and let your troops do the work or use your political influence to have others fight your battles. All in all, this is a great game despite being in early early access. The only issue I've had so far is the game sometimes crashes before I go into a fight (it only delays their inevitable deaths.) Totally worth the $50 I spent on it.

This is a great game! I'm not usually into games that doesn't have much story (I love story rich games especially Bioware games), but this game breaks through that mold. I've never had so much fun running around without an world saving objective. I think the great part about this game is the fact you're no hero. Just a normal dude trying to survive. You'll get your butt kick a lot, but you'll grow stronger. This game takes to heart the phrase "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger." If you love RPGs or love wasting time doing stupid but funny things, I would recommend you give this game a try.

If you're thinking of getting this game, I would wait until it's on sale or the price drops from $49.99. It's a good game, but it's like playing Dragon Age 2. The characters and story is great along with the combat mechanics. but a lot of recycling. Dungeons, areas, enemies, and gear are reused so much that the game loses it uniqueness. I wish the fast traveling was better but other than those issues, it's a good game. Just not worth $49.99
