I'm not sure why, but this game feels kind of boring and empty.

I've tried to start it at least 4 times, and I'm normally a huge fan of old school inspired FPS's. This one just does not grab me. The navigation is confusing and it is never clear where you are supposed to go. Levels aren't interesting. I really wanted to like it, but in all honesty it feels sort of half-baked.

fun game. don't care to learn tarkov so this is a nice middle ground. the cartoony style adds to the personality of the game and the gunplay feels good. hope people keep playing it/devs keep updating it

Best skateboarding sim game available.

...with XXLMod. Easy Day are severely neglecting their community by not including a stats menu. They also do not communicate much with the end user whatsoever, aside from occasional Instagram posts. This is surprising given how barren the game is without mods.

They even released a statement saying that a stats menu would stray from the intended gameplay or something, but I am positive I wouldn't have spent 700+ hours -- probably more including the 1.1 backup -- without mods. I love the game that they've created, but without the ability to change gravity, style, etc.; I wouldn't still be playing. I'm just baffled at the disregard EDS has for the obvious need to communicate and to increase the longevity of SXL with said features.

TLDR it's worth if u get XXLMod

Survival games have the whiniest fanbases. This game is good though

First of all; I have never played the original Half Life. I had only played Half Life 2 when I was younger, and never beat it due to my short attention span and console malfunctions. That being said, Black Mesa is a perfect introduction to the series, as I imagine it is an amazing revisit for veteran Half Life players. Haven't beaten it yet, but definitely recommended to those interested.
