One of the most beautiful, profound, and political games I've ever played. It's absolutely disgusting what ZA/UM did to the creator of the IP, Robert Kurvitz - they literally *stole* it from him. Do with that information what you will.

One way or another, you should play this game. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't.

Gonna preface this by saying the game suffers the Unreal Engine 5 curse currently. Hopefully optimization comes down the line because my 4070 Ti Super is struggling on High settings, especially after a few hours. Assuming there's a memory leak. Also not too pleased with Lumen, especially in interiors.

That aside, I've already dumped a full 25 hours into this title. It sinks its teeth in and does not let go, just like its predecessor. The QOL features implemented for inventory management and base building persist from the first game. It feels like a survival game that's actually respectful of your time.

The first 22-23 hours I'd say were Act I story progression with my base build factored in. A few of the plot beats are very obvious if you've played the first game and/or pay attention to dialog, especially concerning the identity of the person "watching you," but there are tons of cool hidden secrets throughout and I haven't even explored the full map yet.

Buy it now or wait for more updates if you wish. Either way, this is a game worth playing.

You lost me the moment I saw how restrictive the buy menu is. Who thought it was a good idea to effectively remove half the weapons from the roster by limiting what you're able to purchase in a match?

It's like Half-Life and Project Zomboid had a baby, except this game actually gets updates.

Game is pretty but that's about all it has going for it.

Great concept, had fun the time I played solo. However, multiplayer ain't working. Hasn't since launched. Can't recommend buying this game until it gets some polish.

However, if you also managed to snag it for free, you may as well give it a go.

Prison Architect really makes you *feel* like the Prison Industrial Complex.

If you need a new game to play with your friends, DRG is a solid pick. Offering four player co-op, multiple mission types and biomes, as well as an engaging progression system, you'll be bringing Doretta home before you know it.

Earn this.

Absolutely phenomenal game that I had gifted to me by a friend. This game would be a steal even at full price, but there are regular sales where it's a few bucks. If you're on the fence, get it and go in blind; you won't regret it.
