Dark Souls 2 is often viewed as the "worst" in the Soulsbourne series, but I personally think it's very underrated. PVP and Co-Op is improved, all of the music tracks are memorable (love the Majula theme), dual wielding is great and the DLC is amazing. Not to mention this game is THE game to play for magic users and there is more customization so you can experiment to your liking. However, I do think this does suffer from too many enemies and lame bosses, the hitbox detection can be troublesome and the whole hollowing effect is stupid to me. While Dark Souls 1 is my favorite in the series and one of my favorite games of all time, Dark Souls 2 can be very fun game (most of the time).
