This is getting close to be a "did not finish" for me. Besides having the most boring introduction, the controls are horrible. The game is mostly played by responding to and hitting the correct key when it appears on the screen.....and this is something I loathe in gaming. I'm still slogging through to see if the story makes up for the controls...I'm not sold so far. If you don't mind the reaction style games you will probably like this, but it's not for me.
Update: I did finish it. The story was okay but nothing mind blowing. I'm just not sure the story makes up for the controls. I really wish there was more puzzles and crime solving versus just reactions.

Layers of Fear is an atmospheric horror game in which you play as a disturbed painter set out to finish the most important painting in his career. The game is mostly an exploration style game with occasional puzzles so you may not enjoy this one if you are looking for something challenging or survival based. This game best suits those who want to explore a creepy mansion and "enjoy" the trippy visuals and story that unravel as you progress. Overall I really enjoyed this game and would highly recommend it to other spooky game lovers.

Wow! This game was amazing. Ghostwire is a beautiful open world game. It's a fun combination of ghost story and Japanese folklore. I would highly recommend checking this one out.

Praey for the Gods is a fun combination of survival and boss fights. The boss fights are different. Instead of engaging the boss with a weapon, you have sigils on the boss you have to find and attack. This makes the boss fight a little more of a puzzle than just a straight up fight. You'll still have to dodge attacks but you don't rely on your sword often to kill the monsters. One thing I really enjoyed was the difficulty is very flexible to adjust. If you just want to fight bosses, you can turn the survival difficulty down. If you want to focus on survival you can turn the fight difficulty down. The only complaint I have is I would have liked more lore. The game was fun and the monster design was great, having more story elements would have made it even more awesome. I'd recommend this to players who enjoy puzzles, survival games and boss fights.

It's been a really long time since I've played a game like this. So Jurassic World Evolution was a wonderful Nostalgia...plus I love dinosaurs.
Pros:Dinosaurs, lots of dinosaurs. Good graphics and overall the game play and park building is really smooth.
Cons: There's a little more micromanagement then I would have liked. For example, it would have been nice to program the park rangers to automatically refill the feeders so I can build and not constantly try to refill feeders. Having a larger island for the sandbox would have been nice too.
Overall great game, I would highly recommend to anyone who loved Zoo Tycoon, Planet Zoo or other Park Builders.

I loved this game. The scenery and monster designs were beautiful. I'm also a giant fan of the fast paced hack-and-slash style FPS games. Really the only con is it has a short play time of about 2-3 hours depending on how thoroughly you investigate the environment. I am super intrigued to see what else FYQD has planned because Bright Memory was pure fast paced fun.

Fun and simple. You're the monster, eat all the humans to build biomass and escape the research facility.

If you feel like you would get immense satisfaction from shooting up Nazi zombies and Zombie Hitler, you won't be disappointed. Fun zombie third person shooter. The story is nothing special but it's still really fun.
Cons: all additional content including new characters, new weapons, and DLCs must be purchased. You can get multiple things with the season passes, but the constant purchases still make me sad.

Oh the Nostalgia!
I remember when these games first launched on xbox. I hadn't played them in years so it was really fun to go back and play through each again. If you need a Master Chief fix and want to go shoot Covenant, would highly recommend.
Pros: fun action packed FPS. It was easy to play campaign mode in multiplayer if you are looking for a co-op.
Cons: none, though I am biased. I've always loved the Halo games. Really the only con is they are pretty short games.

I actually liked this game, but I didn't play the original to compare it to.
Pros: The graphics update looks great and I enjoyed Nemesis as the baddie. Overall it's a fun, linear TPS game.
Cons: I wish it was longer. I would probably recommend catching it on a sale. You will likely beat it in 10 hrs.
