I am probably one of those guys, who is better off watching other people play. The amount of depth and knowledge needed to actually start this game is offputting at best. I found myself enjoying MP coop campaigns simply because i was able to use a very very tiny fraction of the troops and play those. If i have to manage the entire freaking battlefield its just too damn much. Its overwhelmingly complex and you need to know all the troops, what they do, how they counter each other, how the line of sight works and much more.

I enjoyed panzer general and other games like it in the past...but this? not so much. Its just too much and dont get me started on "deck building".

Maybe im getting too old for this kinda stuff...

You def aren't getting too old, the micro in this game is focking ridiculous. I enjoyed their first game being Wargame European Escalation .. now they're set on milking this engine and style.

Hahaha... ich wollte mir heute nen spiel kaufen wegen der aktion... hab bloß nichts gefunden, teilweise hatte ich 5 von 5 angebotenen spielen.^^

Ohje, gut das du das sagst ... ich weiß ja das du ein micromangement freak bist. Und wenn dir das zu viel ist dann mir mit sicherheit auch.^^

could very well be me, but just a day after i played steel division i played aoe4 the first time and instantly fell in love with its intuitive UI and well polished game design. I cannot say the same thing about steel division. I recognize it for what it is but the controls are not standard RTS as described. Its just bothering me so so much, i just dont want to deal with it. And since AOE4 is actually one of the oldest gamedesigns in RTS it might just very well be an "age" related thing ;-)

Boomer alert* nah jokes, the game seems complex but once you figure out the games mechanics it becomes quite simple and fun imo.

nach sauberen 5 Stunden nen Daumen runter - jo ... vielleicht liegts auch an dir und nicht am Spiel ;)
