This is a solid game . It's a fun continuation within the RoboCop story. It has some light RPG elements and some fun customization of THE RoboCop auto-pistol. The voice work is solid, the music is good, and the game does a really excellent job of giving you a true RoboCop experience. They have a number of side-quests that will appear on your map, but you're also rewarded for exploring on your own in the various maps, so make sure you poke around. You do have some wiggle room in how you get to personalize Robo throughout the game. Either as man or machine, something in between, or something new. I got the game on sale and I think it was $5. I'd absolutely recommend it if you can pick it up for $20-$30. I'll likely pick up the DLC as well, simply because I felt like I definitely unpaid for this and they deserve it for a job well done. It's not game of the year material, but it is a fun experience and I'm glad I checked it out.

A very enjoyable potion crafting/merchant deck building game, that after the most recent improvements, I can absolutely recommend. It include a host of interesting characters, many romance-able for the folks out there for whom that's their jam. A robust and engaging potion crafting list and system, and an enjoyable gameplay loop.

The crux of the loop is that you have a sum of money that you use, along with the potions you create, to hire heroes from the Heroes' Guild to go on expeditions to new areas to find new and better ingredients that you can then use to grow the selection available at the shop. You craft potions with those which you can sell for better prices which gets you larger sums of money. While you're engaged in the day to day of the loop, you're also speaking and engaging with the cast and growing closer to them and gaining inspiration for new methods to sell potions in your shop. Mechanically, this nets you new cards you can use to build your deck of sales-person tactics to sell your potions.

The potions themselves have a base value and modifiers, both positive and negative, that effect the cost of the potion. When selling them, it's up to you to develop a decent deck that drives interest in your wares and helps you manage stress during long selling sections.

That's a brief overview of the systems of the game, I don't want to give too much away, because it's exceptionally exciting finding out who gives what cards and how those cards can synergize together to make a cohesive deck. The music for the game is very well done. It's cute, folky, orchestral, and ultimately does a solid job of keeping you locked into the vibe of the game. I found the art and animation to be super cute and fun as well. All the character and the ways they move and express themselves is simply really nice to look at.

They did recently add character voices, which I've mixed feelings about only because I started playing before they were added, so internally, I have my own ideas on what each character sounds like. The updates to the game have been great. The added a greatly needed sorting feature, endless mode, as well as difficulty adjustments. On classic mode, the early game can be a little demanding and the late game a little on the easy side, assuming that you get a firm understanding of the game's mechanics by then. But now, there's options to make it easier or harder depending on your tastes which is great.

The only thing that this game NEEDS right now is the ability to have multiple sets of decks. Currently, you can only have one deck saved; meaning that if you have a successful working deck, but you want to experiment with some other ideas or new cards that you have to overwrite your existing one. Yes, you can reload a previous save, but it should be trivial to allow for three saved decks. Deck building and trying different strategies is such a fun part of the game, I don't know why the game doesn't make it easier for you to do that.

Potionomics is very solid addition to the potion crafting genre. With the last few updates, my criticisms are few. I think it's an excellent game that any fan of the genre will really enjoy. I'd highly recommend it as my go-to choice for potion-crafters.

It's kinda fun and maybe I'll revise this review at a later time, but at current it fails to impress. I really enjoy roguelikes, but something about spending a length of time every stage exploring for craftables, fighting enemies in more or less the same fashion, and somewhat boring upgrades isn't for me. I feel like the starting set of upgrades you can obtain is too small and it makes the first several runs feel really same-y and dull. For me, the run-cycle is way too long for it to have so much "null space" I spend most of the time maneuvering around in space searching for something interesting rather than engaging with it. And the "something interesting" is usually a box or a mine-able asteroid. I'm willing to put a little more into the game, but so far I'm not impressed. I'm hoping that once I clear my first run that it opens up a lot more, but I'm not sure if I'll get there.

This is an absolutely amazing game. The devs are amazing and they've been continuing to work on it for years. There's so much versatility in how to play. This is, hands down, the best zombie survival game that I've ever played.

This is a super fun game. More like an action roguelike on wheels. I haven't played the local co-op, but I've played online with a small group and had a lot of fun. The campaign is really enjoyable. A nice handful of different types of missions along with psudeo-random track generation. Lots of different motorcycles and characters with multiple options for attacking and avoiding enemies. The gameplay videos are decent, but the gameplay itself is even more fun. The soundtrack for the game absolutely slaps. It definitely captures the moment to moment hype/anxiety of the game especially on the rooftop levels. Overall, I see this game as a great game to hop into if you're looking for a way to have some quick fun.

I grabbed it on sale for about $4 and it's definitely worth more. I'd be happy paying around $12-17 for. If I can get some friends to join in $20 is probably well worth the price. Also, for those looking to play the local-campaign, I'd highly recommend pairing the game with Parsec to have friends remote into your PC to join you.

This is a very fun game for the cost. The story is weird and interesting long enough to hold your interest for the campaign, the core loop is fun, and the map is surprisingly large for what I expected. Also, nightmare mode presents a solid challenge and the risk of only having one life pumps up the horror and tension of the game. I bought Choo-Choo Charles simply because it seemed like an odd and fun game and that's exactly what it is. I got it on sale for $6 and it's definitely worth it. I'd easily pay $15 bucks and be more than happy with my purchase. If you're not a fan of horror, but you like thriller, I think this is a solid game for you. It's not particularly horrifying, but it has it's tense moments. Great project and a fun experience!

Great game! Difficult to start, but once you get a handle on the core mechanics it's incredibly fun to explore and test out different play-styles. It's a lot of fun to play co-op and it's easy to find a game if you're on the discord. It's not without criticism though. Levels 10-14 are the worst part of the game, but fortunately aren't a massive time sink. I've played for hours across the game's multitude of classes and characters and if you're willing to stick it out and get over the learning curve of the game (which is a lot easier now that they've added a tutorial) you'll really enjoy this game.

This is one of the best local co-op magic games out there. I don't encounter many games that put you in the seat of that much control over your magic very often, if at all. You have the means to forge your own way to play the game. Develop your favorite spells and combos and really have your own personal styling to how you like to play. It's especially fun to see when you play with other friends that have played the game and use completely different ideas or combos. The music is pretty alright. Decent, but not memorable. But the writing and voice work is surprisingly really funny. It's very fun to read the subtitles for what's being said and to actually hear the dialogue of the sometimes nonsense "language" spoken by the characters is pretty great. This is a good fun game that's great to play with friends with a magic system that can be very simple or very complicated depending on your play style. Great experience and I'd definitely recommend it for a Friday or Saturday night online over Parsec with the squad.
