have successfully defended myself against 4 knife attacks and 3 sword attacks. in all 7 cases my opponent died. it was either him or me, so i regret nothing. i'm sorry, but what saved my life was years and years of training in armed and unarmed combat. there is no technique you can wield vs a blade-wielding attacker that takes less than 10 years to master. however i have become a full master of unarmed VS blade fighting techniques passed down from the japanese masters and can now say that when my enemy draws a knife it is much more dangerous for him than it is for me
