Great game, can't wait to see how it continues to change throughout Early Access.

It's anime dark souls within the God Eater universe. If you think of God Eater as a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ripoff of Monster Hunter, then you're gonna think this game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ripoff of Dark Souls. This game can be as easy or as difficult as you want it to be, depending on whether or not you decide to use a greatsword.

The character creator allows for a lot of creativity and could be considered a whole game in it's own right.

A great game for some braindead fun

This is the monster hunter I, and many others, have been waiting months for. While it is true that there are some issues with the game's performance, mainly the occasional disconnects and fps drops, this game is the smoothest monster hunter yet. The only reason the reviews are currently mixed is because only those having issues are leaving reviews, those of us enjoying the game are too busy playing it to leave a review.


EDIT: The server issues have mainly been fixed, with some people having issues after the kulve update. While the game is lacking in content compared to other monster hunter games, they are starting to steadily add new content to the game.

Game used to be fun, is now just pay to win garbage. I remember when you could unlock classes with the ingame currency, and the grind was more fufilling, instead of it being to gain +0.1% to a stat on a gem.
