I love this game!

At least that's something I'm trying to tell myself so that someday I will actually believe it.
The supposed Mesiah of gaming turned turned out to be the very thing CD Projekt RED pledged not to be. An unfinished, over-promised and under-developed game.

The Good
On the positive side though, Cyberpunk 2077 shines in the story-telling department. Main quest line as well as the side jobs are engaging and captivating. The character design and the dimension to their personalities as well as the stories as they tell feels absolutely prime and enchanting.
With a beefy enough hardware, the game really does look beautiful. Especially combining that with excellent, truly three-dimensional level design. It makes me often choose to take a walk through a neighborhood and explore instead of fast-travelling.

The Bad
However, that is also the point when the pink-colored glasses fall off, curtain drops and the ugly face of shareholder-induced rushed and buggy development shines through. The oh-so glorified and bustling night city is as dead as a dried up carcass of a mouse in the middle of a desert with no water in sight. Not to say that the city is devoid of any NPCs at all, although the ones that do spawn (which every so often happens right in from of your face) might as well just not exist at all. Interactions are restricted to a single response, actions involve either defensive crouching in fear or walking past you just so that they can despawn as soon as possible. Not to even mention the implementation of wanted level and police AI, which is a joke so bad, there is no need to point it out any more. The aforementioned issues destroy all the immersion so well built by the general feel of the city. Many features are either rushed, taken straight out of The Witcher or plainly missing. The post-creation character customization like even a simple hairstyle change is just a drop in the bucket at this point.

And the so so
The rather short and disappointing (that's what she said) intro to the game doesn't seem to be as impactful as advertised, although each starting role does bring unique dialog options in certain conversations. Since CDPR is rather new to implementing vehicle handling, it's hard to be too critical, however the steering definitely does take some getting used to. A game pad is definitely easier to handle than keyboard. Lastly but not least, the game stability aspect leaves some space for improvement. The game tends to crash more often than one would expect from a game, which was supposed to be "released when it's ready". It is most certainly not and it shows.

Was it Worth the Hype?
It's complicated, as usual. Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game and deserves to be appreciated, but it's not what it was advertised to be. CDPR should have either cooled their enthusiasm on PR campaign and over-promising or pushed the release until the game was actually ready for a proper release. This way or another, I'm sure the reception would have been far better and wouldn't have left an unpleasant aftertaste after the game crashes for the third time in an hour after a vivid display of in-game glitches.
In the current state I do not recommend buying Cyberpunk yet, especially if you are just just as hyped about it as I was initially. Although, I am looking forward to CDPR addressing all the issues and fixing the game to the best of their abilities.

Did it make me spiral down the conveyor belt rich rabbit hole? Maybe.

Do I have any regrets: Absolutely No.

A captivating factory design game that definitely brings me back (with its visuals) to the classics of the strategy genre back from my childhood time. Blend of focusing on your factory's logistics and fending off swarms of aliens is a good blend, although blessed be the option to just enjoy the serene mode of peaceful gameplay without having to worry about the biters. To sum up, amaznig and addictive game.

THE FACTORY MUST GROW

Quite a journey across the quality spectrum.

Given all the hype and excitement that eventually led to an utter disappointment, it looks like lately, with each new update, the game is growing up to its initial expectations.
It's an amazing stellar experience both for lonesome explorers as well as self proclaimed base builders and space pirates. With the new addition of Nexus hubs, interactions between players had become only more interesting. An ability to finally complete quests in co-op mode is a huge plus too.

There's still some work to be done on the grounds of engine optimization and few minor UX fixes, though I definitely recommend this game 10/10. Especially for people that neither want to participate in fast-paced CoD-style shooters, nor track each and every aspect of character development. Both thumbs up

Quite an enjoyable game with a pleasant open world. Although the cherry topping of this production is definitely the modding community. A help from a few mods can elevate the Fallout experience to a whole new level and make replaying the story even more enjoyable.

Story rich, spine chilling plot, fabulous easter eggs, however...

Game itself in single player mode is close to perfect. There may occur some minor bugs or glitches, but me personally, I haven't yet experienced any major game crash.

When it comes to the online mode things get a bit trickier. Onine experience is marvelous. Ability to play with other people, all those adversary modes, races and heists. It's awesome, however i have a feeling that I've spent more time waiting in the lobbies than in an actual game. Loading times are outrageous. and that needs to be said! Rockstar servers either hardly keep up with all conected players or need to have their matching algorithms changed.

All in all after all this time spent in that game I am posistive in a overall experience
