This game is a rusted old relic of the past. Between the literal random upgrade paths for stats, the enemy zombies latching onto me from thirty feet to my side, and the absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slog that is the bossfights, I don't know why I remember this series as highly as I do from my childhood.

Ruined half of the good characters. Straight up falsely advertised about PvE and in stead of a progression system gave a PAID FOR DLC that no one wants and is reviewed down into the depths of McCree's office sex dungeon. Blizzard encourages the words of former U.S. president Donald J. Trump "Grab her by the ♥♥♥♥♥", regardless of consent in the office. This would be based in the 80s, but we're in 2024 my dudes. If I was a developer for this game I would k1ll myself quicker than the Concord developers are.

This game both crashes immediately on startup half of the time, and the other half it crashes about every two alt-tabs from the game. Forced gun inaccuracy makes the gunplay more realistic but also more floaty than Killing Floor 1. Play 1 instead. Update: ten more hours, same ♥♥♥♥ LOL

If I could refund the game I would, but it was given to me as a gift and I'm beyond two hours. Gameplay is Minecraft meets Rust, rather monotonous after a while. Good with friends but beyond that there's no value in the title.

Playing couch co-op for campaign is a little wonky admittedly, but it's absolutely not game breaking. For a game as old as this title now is, my girlfriend and I have been enjoying playing through on Normal so far. The reviews I've read said Normal is essentially easy mode to people who are accustomed to Musou games, so if you are a veteran to things like the Dynasty Warriors/Warriors Orochi series, maybe start on the higher difficulty. If you're a casual or a veteran wanting some casual fun with someone else, this game will deliver that! Will update review if we ever dive into the DLC.
