First of all, I like the game. It's an open world game in which you take on the role of Robin Hood and play out his story. As others have said, it's neither meat nor fish. You can build, fight, develop your character, solve puzzles and follow the main story and side quests, it has many elements but none of them go too deep.

A few tips:
+Play the regions in order: Barnsdale, Sherwood Forest, Peak District, Midlands.
+If mapevents (i.e. Shoot a hanged man from the gallows, kill the tax collector) fail, load the last savegame and try again, as these are not repeatable and otherwise the 100% per region can no longer be achieved.
+Boss fights: Create a save manually beforehand and stock up on repair kits, potions, arrows, food and drink. During the mission, the three auto-saves are used and if you face the boss without arrows and a broken sword, all you can do is load the manual savegame.

Not a definite thumbs up, but for the price and fans of the genre a recommendation, even if the title would be better called “Robin Hood - Sherwood Village Managers”. :)
