Definitely better with friends. For a casual like me, it can get very frustrating and will bore you out easily when aiming is not your strong suit. Couple that with two other people just like me that are complete strangers and you are looking at the recipe for easy burn out. Having a couple of mates to play with ever so often would keep you going and will especially challenge you to make better decisions and aim properly. Otherwise, it's also a great game to get into competitively if you are more of a solo player. 10/10 Just stop screwing up with the servers please.

This game although looked very promising at the start, and although it did recommend a controller which I did not have, I was expecting to at least be able to play it on keyboard. But the menu was very unintuitive and it had no tutorial whatsoever for controls. There was a control menu in the settings but sadly no option for keyboard. I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out the controls on stream and by the end I still was not able to figure it out. Frame rate is also quite laggy and does not provide a very good experience. However, the design and overall feel of the game seem really neat and I would really love it if I was able to play it properly without the expense of buying a controller just for the sake of playing a 15 minute game.

100 hours into the game. Still no chicken dinner ./.

Game was amazing a few typos and mistaken grammars here and there but all in all it was great!
Recommend going on Kotori's route first because its amazingly satisfying at the end overall rating 10/10

This game is old.

This game is really old. Players come and go, but the ones who do stick around know that they can't leave this game because its just too damn good. I've spent a good amount of time in this game so my say is just as good as anyone.

Over the past few years, this game has slowly deteriorated not only in the lack of playerbase, but also in the lack of content. TF2 used to be one of the top played games in the steam charts. But with the overall lack of attention from Valve, and they're seeminglessly lack of attention and hearing thereof, players have slowly started to shift to other games because it's just become so damn boring.

Matchmaking

Matchmaking ethics in this game is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Nobody even cares to stay in the post-game lobby to queue for another map, most players just leave and start up another lobby which would be a whole 'nother tidious process of queuing for a match.

Queuing with friends is also an issue especially in large groups of 4 or more people, removing the ability to just join your friends server whenever available proved to be dissatisfying and intollerable to deal with. Now you have to wait in queue for more than 5 minutes just to get in a game with your friends.
