Early Access Review
I never played the original flash games of this series, and now that I have played this I regret not getting into it sooner. Despite being in Early Access the game has a plethora of things you can do, from exploring rich star systems to loot alien equipment that is impossible to gather otherwise to running missions given to you by stations.

Building your ship is both easy and intuitive, and while there is a rewarding grind you have little to fear in terms of losing your hard-earned ships and components on them. Unlike other games you have an arcade-like lives system that makes a great safety net to prevent losing all that you've worked toward from a string of bad luck. That's not to say that there is no challenge at all, however. Both enemy players and fortified AI stations can see to you bleeding through lives quite quickly if you aren't careful, and that lasts all the way from early game to end game.

There's also a great basis for factional/organizational warfare in the current build. Players are able to start their own corporations, declare war with one another, ally or participate in fun skirmishes with one another. The galaxy is quite large as well, so there is plenty of space to fight over - all that's needed are more players!

I highly recommend this game, between the active Discord community and extremely attentive developer I don't think you can go wrong if you are a big fan of space games such as this. There's nowhere to go but up, as so many features are planned and will no doubt be added in the near future.
